| I'm not too keen on this episodes pairing but it's nice to see them get development. Dating a co worker is usually dangerous territory. Damn Souma has really good senses, haha. He felt it harder than any of us. Yamada is cute yet again. Really sad that she won't be recognized the same way again even though she somehow managed to work without making a single mistake. |

| 29 Episodes and it FINALLY happened! Satou does it like a baws! Loved the moment that Yachiyo's legs gave way, and Satou stops mid-walk, comes back and calls her a taxi. Now THAT'S a gentleman of gentlemen. Mad props and respect! Totally expected Yamada's sudden "Love" for Takanashi after what happened last episode, and Inami's reaction to her confession was priceless XD Love me some more frustrated Souma moments. It's actually fun to see him in despair. |

| Am I the only one that was genuinely shocked that satou hugged yachiyo? I was not expecting that out of his character and how he would jump at that opportunity seeing how he was always hesitant about previous chances. Satou saying he's drunk then denying and saying he meant it felt seemed like redundant dialogue at first but I realized it's actually a well written realistic portrayal of awkward behaviour for a situation like this. Seeing an uncomposed side of satou for the first time and seeing so much seriousness from a fluffy progress reset show like this blew my mind. Still don't know how I feel about this. I'm still not entirely convinced that yachiyo sees satou as more than a friend, and whether his confession is going makes things more awkward and create tension or incite her to like satou as well. Gee honestly mixed feelings about how different satou's character has become from this episode but it's generally good i think. |

No, I was also surprised and probably many other people as well, that's one of the points that made that scene really great and unexpected. A shock factor. Was it out of Satou's character? Of course it was but isn't it only natural that a guy who went on a date with a girl he likes (after thousand years of wait, without being able to invite her anywhere) and get drunk (or at least slightly drunk) would simply "GO FOR IT". After all the equation: being with the girl one likes * being drunk = doing things that one wouldn't be able to do normally (most of the times stupid things, sometimes good things that require courage that one usually doesn't have) Still props for Satou for calling the taxi afterwards, and this shows that his character is still well in place so there is no need to worry about that. As for chief looking at him for more than a friend... the comment that she was never invited in anywhere by a friend that she made in this episode explains clearly that she definitely won't be able tell someone between a friend and potential love interest at this point. This point was rather clear. Generally though I would be very surprised if their romance plot went anywhere far, and there is no need for that as it's just not that kind of show. At best there could be some major development at the end of the series (manga series, meaning the whole story not just third season of anime) Other than that there were other multiple parts that I liked (I don't feel the need to write about them as it was the usual greatness), but generally just being able to get another episode of working again is so great. There are still ten episodes left, yey! |
