| For me It was Bakemonogatari ... I watched even Nisemonogatari just to give series another chance , but It failed my expectations ... I was suggested from some guy on MAL that it's great anime , but I guess he got the last laugh. While I was watching I was in some kind of pain ... I liked the story , even the art ( even tho its weird,but still liked it) but seeing MC getting beaten all the time , just got the better of me ... Anime is like 50% talking and 50% Koyomi getting his ass kicked ... I liked the concept of vampires and stuff , but would be 100 times better and more enjoyable show if there were more action , and Koyomi being actual vampire ... But that's me ... I guess it's that kind of show , you like it or hate it ... |

| Yeah, Araragi was pretty pathetic It's not just the fact that he gets beat all the time; he still values people who clearly disrespect him. Why not just cut most of them out of his life? Why go through so much pain and sacrifice to protect people who only use him because he's willing to help? I think it sets a poor example on the viewerbase. Hopefully people realize it's all bullshit and that in real life you never get anything positive from acting like that |
