| I gotta say, Teresa grew on me quickly. I like the way she hunts Yoma, just charging in and slaughtering them before they turned was savage. The reveal that the mute girl was Clare really blew me away, I just thought that it was just setting up another Claymore in the story. This helps to lend insight into why Clare watches out for Raki. |

| @Ratohnhaketon - that was the best! Just walked right in and started killing, haha. I laughed when people scattered. "She's crazy! Ruuuunn!!" That's certainly one way to do it. No need to draw things out if you don't have to I guess. Very nice background episode. Makes Raki's tag along make much more sense. Still don't like him though, heh. |

| i actually started the series by this episode with my girlfriend before so, i already knew this was clare and what would happen to them. it didn't destroy any of the fun to me. teresa is much more likeable than clare and i think otherwise i wouldn't be this interested in the series anyway. |

| When Clare took that medication to reduce her yoma powers, her eye colour returned to brown, not green; so I'm confused on whether this girl is really our Clare or not; the artstyle doesn't help at all, since most of the character's faces lack individuality |

| Weren't Yoma supposed to be human-eating monsters and just that? Why would one of them want a human to "play with"? Interesting. So was this really a flashback episode? Because both Teresa and Clare appear in the OP fighting as adults. My guess is that Teresa and Clare are sisters and the former named this mute girl after Clare because she loves her sister. Simple as that. Edit: Not to mention Clare's eyes are BROWN when she has her Yoma side suppressed (Ep.3) and this mute girl has them GREEN. |
