| Apps can't just make an image cooler out of nowhere and the ones that are out are mostly cheap knock-offs that will do a half-assed job. If you don't mind splashing a little money (or pirating) get Photoshop. If you're too cheap or are broke, get GIMP (basically a lesser, but free Photoshop). |

| I don't suggest Photoshop for minor edits like cropping and adding small touches. Paint.Net will do the job properly. Even if you need slightly more power GIMP is always there for you. |
