ENFP, although studying the functions are more interesting than finding out my type honestly.

To those of you who got E (extroverted) as your first letter, are you actually social in real life scenarios?

Well expectations aren't always met.

Also after re-reading my result, lol that doesn't even accurately represent me at all.

There really should be more emphasis on the cognitive functions of each personality type, rather than falling victim to confirmation bias and going all "amg this is so true about me!"

Well, if we're going by stereotype then ENFP is the least extroverted out of all the E. I feel like that applies rather well for me, but it's more that I select when to be social and when not to be. I'm definitely more outgoing than introverted, however.

Just do this test then.
http://www.sociotype.com/tests/#The-Extended-Socionics-Test

Socionics is essentially an upgrade that uses the cognitive functions correctly. Remember to flip the J/P if you test introvert for MBTI conversion.

E.g. ENTj in Socionics is ENTJ in MBTI. ISFj in Socionics is ISFP in MBTI. That's because Socionics stayed true to Jung and used the J/P dichotomy correctly.
As usual you come to the rescue. I'm aware of socionics, and I much more prefer it, but MBTI is by far the more popular choice because it's more simple for people to analyze.

I think it isn't necessary to take the test to understand your type. I just checked for each preference the most fitting description.
Anyway, the MBTI is still a joke for me. I did it for fun and to add it to my profile.

The psychological mask, the "persona", was also coined by Jung. He didn't say many nice things about having too many of them in terms of psychological health. :p

INTJ apparently

Personal relationships, particularly romantic ones, can be the INTJ's Achilles heel. While they are capable of caring deeply for others (usually a select few), and are willing to spend a great deal of time and effort on a relationship, the knowledge and self-confidence that make them so successful in other areas can suddenly abandon or mislead them in interpersonal situations.

This happens in part because many INTJs do not readily grasp the social rituals; for instance, they tend to have little patience and less understanding of such things as small talk and flirtation (which most types consider half the fun of a relationship). To complicate matters, INTJs are usually extremely private people, and can often be naturally impassive as well, which makes them easy to misread and misunderstand. Perhaps the most fundamental problem, however, is that INTJs really want people to make sense. :-) This sometimes results in a peculiar naivete', paralleling that of many Fs -- only instead of expecting inexhaustible affection and empathy from a romantic relationship, the INTJ will expect inexhaustible reasonability and directness.

Nailed it.
