Yeah afaik people find it to be meaningless to buy the BDs if they've already read the manga of Ore Monogatari, or so I've been told

Ore monogatari is 300k per volume sales level which is semi-mainstream level I think.
500k-1.5Million are fully mainstream for certain generation level=Naruto,Bleach,Tokyo Ghoul,Haikyuu,Prince of tennis,Nanatsu no taizai,Kimi ni Todoke,Ao haru ride
Of course 200k selling manga can be mainstream titles when it is either vely long running manga such as 70+volume or long running on major magazines such as WSJ or WSM

You're totally forgetting that Toei has Gegege no Kitaro and Dr. Slump just waiting for another remake, and there is still the option of getting another new anime after DB Super ending.

There exist Rumors about artists starting working in a new Gegege no Kitaro.

Those are certain to get a new anime but toriko will offer more profit than both at the moment and gegege aired 2 anime last time so it take even longer for a new anime.
Even if they do air them and toriko gets pushed back to 6 years, it should still be publishing.

Gegege no Kitaro has a new remake every decade and for now they got from 8 to 13 years interval between them(the original and the first remake had just 2 years of interval though).

Gegege no Kitaro last time had a nighttime 11 episode version and a morning 100 episodes.
The nighttime wasn't really Gegege no Kitaro, but Hakaba no Kitaro. Also note this wasn't the first something like that happened. In the 80's Kitaro had also 2 versions a 108 episodes normal a "extra edition" with 7 episodes. The 90's remake was made just 8 years after!

Last Kitaro ended in 2009. If we count that the next version will come 8 years later, we get 2017. That ends up being the end that Dragon Ball Super will end, if it gets the 100 episodes run.

Also note that Boku no Hero Academia, Hinomaru Zumou, Black Clover and Dance-bu are new titles that by the end of Dragon Ball Super will get from 150 to 100 chapters, the good amount for adaptation. It will be weird if Toei doesn't get at least on of them.

That is not really true. Madhouse was only bought recently in 2011(Madhouse is active since 1973, doing its own series since 1995), by NTV(Nippon Television) because the company went bankrupt. So while their business strategy is more focuses into TV success right now, it doesn't mean they have success(TV viewership).

In fact Madhouse series don't have that good of TV viewership! The ranking umashikaneko showed was Video Recording and not TV viewership and Ore Monogatari only appeared 1 time and in the lowest place of the list(10th).

Unfortunately the DVR figures are not really comparable to anything else. They give rankings compared to the most recorded show, Youkai Watch in this case, but no measure of the proportion of television households recording these shows. Thus these figures cannot be compared to the ratings numbers and are meaningful only relative to each other within the same week.

It this for the entire each season(winter, spring, summer, fall) or just selective week?
One Piece,Gintama,Nanatsu and Jojo are expected. YES for Shigatsu. Nice to see that not only it is doing well in bluray/dvd sales but also TV rating. Happy for Tokyo Ghoul and Arslan Senki rating. Hopefully, this will help Tokyo Ghoul get sequel despite the bluray/dvd not selling well.
WOW! Zankyou no Terror is there too.
Does anyone know how Kingdom does in TV rating?

Just curious, which is more important and bring more money? Bluray/dvd sales or TV viewership?

But it's important to remember that a movie review is subjective;it only gives you one person's opinion.

http://www.classzone.com/books/lnetwork_gr08/page_build.cfm?content=analyz_media&ch=30

It doesn't matter if you like LoGH,Monster etc.If you are a jobless or college/school dropout living in your mom basement, you are still an unintelligent loser. Taste in anime does not make you a better person. If elitist don't exist, casual pleb and shit taste also don't exist.

TV ratings, aka the percentage of households who watched said anime that week. But it's just an esrmtimate calculated by companies like Video Research Ltd who 'randomly' select a large sample in the Kanto and Kansai region (Tokyo and Osaka respectively) and register various data about their viewing habits. I don't really have up to date values but I remember that Japan has about 48 million households and each of them have on average 2.63 peope so a rating of 1 should represent about 1.27 million views (including babies)

THERS IS MORE THAN THAT IN TOP TEN
"If you tremble with indignation at every injustice, then you are a comrade of mine"

When the union's inspiration through the workers' blood shall run
There can be no power greater anywhere beneath the sun
Yet what force on earth is weaker than the feeble strength of one
For the Union makes us strong

In fact Madhouse series don't have that good of TV viewership! The ranking umashikaneko showed was Video Recording and not TV viewership and Ore Monogatari only appeared 1 time and in the lowest place of the list(10th).

According to Umashikaneko they have best tv ratings for late night anime in general.

Really? Where did he said that? It would be cool to see their recent shows ratings.

Normally, the Night anime series with the best ratings belong to anime blocks. For what I know the best block is Noitamina.

Madhouse did 2 series for them:
The Tatami Galaxy and Paradise Kiss, each had 3.19 and 2.06 average ratings respectively.
For comparison you have that Noitamina best Top 15 series ratings, since 2009, goes from 4.8 to 3.25. These means that no Madhouse series in that timeslot went into its top 15, and this just counting since 2009(Madhouse didn't do any other series for the block).

but these ratings show in sya the last 15-15 year how far rtaings hav fallen bakc when i was young if anyhting on any prime time slot [ hat moring early eveing or night] got rating of under 7 they would be seen as something just above a failure

but i guess there are more channel these days say on averidge 3-5% of ratings that have use to be network Tv have gone to cable and satalight channel iyt all add s up say if each the 100 satalaight Channels gain .1 per cnt of the v old net work viewer ship then thta show how paradigm change
