| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I really loved this, like most if not all of his works. The rough artstyle is right up my alley and the imagery is always very creative. Plus the guy really knows what he's doing, his 'camera' angles and shadowing are always amazing and make for a unique realism despite the sketchy art. In that regards I might have liked this even more than Dance, Dance, Dance. |

| The very first style felt sort of nostalgic, as it was black and white and just shading. I agree with Higashi about how the camera angles are amazing as well, the part where we turn around in the corner, the first time I though we hit a dead end. The different styles made the same scenes feel very different. |
| The character drinking tea reminded me of Hisoka. xD This video would definitely be somewhere in his alley. Liked the changing art styles throughout the video and the music was good. |

| I've recently discovered Kato Ryu and when I heard about this mash-up with People in the Box I was pretty excited. Because I've liked all of what I've seen from Kato, and I only knew one People in the Box song, the ED to Tokyo Ghoul Seijatachi, which is one of my favourite ED's of all time. I love Unravel but I've had Seijatachi on loop way more frequently. Kikyuu isn't nearly as good as Seijatachi but I do like it, particularly those like guitar licks. Visually this may be my favourite by Kato, between this or Around so far. The only issue is not all loops were created equal, some of them even border on ugly like the borderless colour loop, but there are plenty of quality ones. The first colour one, the multi-colour one where people leave trails of colour, and the last loop especially were all really great. 7/10. |
