| If your pics aren't working, just install Imagus for Firefox or Chrome. It lets you look at images in link form by hovering over them. The reason why I'm making a topic for this is because considering the extremity of the problem, I thought it'd just be best to make a thread for a single workaround so that people don't have to dig through the forums to find the post. Chrome Version Firefox Version There is no Safari, Opera, or IE version, unfortunately, so please don't ask. This is not a solution to the signatures not functioning properly either, unless you're just gonna have your img link in your sig alone (that's the only way it'll work without your shite getting swapped with another person's sig image). Though you can use one of these img scripts: Click me.. Note that this only works for people who have it installed. This script will let you and everyone else who installs it see images in the comments/forums again like normal. You can install this script quickly and easily in Firefox with the add-on Greasemonkey, or in Chrome with Tampermonkey. You can Google for the links, but if anyone really wants instructions or direct links to those add-ons I wrote a topic for my group about it: http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1341463 If the script source goes down cuz the site goes down due to traffic (which is a regular problem on userscripts) we'll try to add alternative links to the script. |

I can understand loading images in the background with javascript to avoid http login prompts in firefox, but this url_check thing is pure idiocy.
