 [center]Omikuji Omikuji (御御籤, 御神籤, or おみくじ) means in Japanese fortune-telling paper strip. This year has nearly come to the end, so we decided to hold this event for the new year after being influenced by all those anime showing the visiting to the shrines, praying and of course taking their paper strip with their fortune for the year! I will be explaining the event now. Since we can't hold a lottery to I want all of you to post a number between 1-12. Yes the number of the fortunes will be 12: 大吉, dai-kichi: great blessing 中吉, chuu-kichi: middle blessing 小吉, shou-kichi: small blessing 吉, kichi: blessing 半吉, han-kichi: half-blessing 末吉, sue-kichi: future blessing 末小吉, sue-shou-kichi: future small blessing 凶, kyou: curse 小凶, shou-kyou: small curse 半凶, han-kyou: half-curse 末凶, sue-kyou: future curse 大凶, dai-kyou: great curse I have already numbered them from 1 to 12 randomly. Later the other admin, billmurderface will change the order and number them differently so we can all take part including the admins without knowing beforehands which number matches with the fortune. (e.g. If han-kichi is my number 10, bill will number my 10 as 2. And this will decide the final fortune's number. Hope you get the idea now) This thread will be open until January 2nd. So if you want to take part post your number before then. The fortunes will be delivered on your profiles the following day, on January 3rd. Note: You can always pick a number someone else already has. There are no limitations. Those who picked the same will just receive the same fortune. [/right]  |
