Hi this is MeatBoi,
I like watching anime, playing video games and hanging out with friends. I am currently playing a lot of DotA 2 and Battlefield 3.
The kinds of anime I really like are psychological, mystery, thriller and slice of life.

Hey. Sorry for the late reply. I've been having a lot health problems. So, how was your winter break? What sort of things did you do?
Shall We Dance? is a movie. Perhaps you were thinking of the TV show So You Think You Can Dance? lol. I haven't seen that show btw >.> As I said, the Japanese version of Shall We Dance got better reviews so I'd recommend that one.
Speaking of indie games, did you ever get a chance to watch or play McPixel? Not sure if you'd be interested in this or not, but since you liked Binding of Isaac you might want to check out the original Legend of Zelda since they based a lot of the game on Zelda. You can get NES emulators online. I know you're busy with school and there are plenty current games you're probably already playing, but I thought I'd mention it.
There's a sexy, young Filipino woman in 20+ BTW

So what are your favorite Led Zeppelin songs? Mine are Ramble On, Good Times Bad Times, Whole Lotta Love, and Dazed and Confused.
I just started watching Pewdiepie play Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Wizard which is a Japanese RPG. The animated cutscenes are done by Studio Ghibli, but the gameplay scenes have the same animation style as the cutscenes. It really feels like you're in a Ghibli movie. I'm a huge fan of Ghibli movies. Also the game features an original soundtrack by Joe Hisaishi, known for composing the scores of several Studio Ghibli feature films. I'm disappointed he's playing with subtitles since I prefer English dubbed. If you want to check it out the first episode here's a Youtube link. I recommend watching in full screen and HD.

Hey. Sorry for the late response. If I was your roommate I'd definitely record you when you were sleep-talking XD I was thinking about taking Ambien (a sleep medication) a few months ago and I was reading the side effects which include: sleepwalking, sleep-talking, sleep-eating, sleep-driving a car, and sleep-fucking.
I'm almost 34 and I still find "shuttlecock" funny. I'm also amused by people with the last name "Weiner" or "Weinerman".
lol, why would they try to make you go to sleep? I hope it's not so they could draw a penis on your forehead with a magic marker.
I don't remember why I dropped ballroom dancing. I think it was just that I had too much work that quarter. It does seem like fun though. Have you seen Shall We Dance? I've only seen the Japanese version because I heard the American one wasn't as good.
I had seen about half of those videos before since there was a period where I watched SNL every week until I cancelled cable. I know I can download episodes online, but I'm not really in the mood to watch it right now. I did record of sketches with my DVD recorder so I can go back and watch my favorites. Here's 2 of my favorites:
http://www.nbc.com/saturday-night-live/video/pranksters/1350011
http://www.nbc.com/saturday-night-live/video/dopple-ganger/2923
I like a lot of different stuff. I like the stuff they play on MTV such as pop, rock, rap, R&B, but I haven't listened anything new in the past 2 years since I cancelled cable and I'm too lazy to go searching online for new stuff. I also like a lot of Celtic music (both traditional and Celtic rock), techno/electro (especially various types of trance music), Indian, Latino, Japanese. There was also a period where I was into blues and klezmer music. Most jazz I don't like, but then there's maybe one out of ten songs that I really like. Scryed had some great jazz music. Same thing with classical in that most I don't like, but some I like a lot - you can't go wrong with a harpsichord. I didn't think I liked country until I heard some Dixie Chicks songs and I also listened to a country station while in a car and liked most of the songs. As far as specific artists some of my favorites are Green Day, Akwid, Alice Deejay, Cascada, Mr. Credo, Destiny's Child, Eminem, D 12, The Fugees, Gin Blossoms, Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, Hootie and the Blowfish, Groove Coverage, the soundtracks for Juno and Scrubs, Metallica, Noriega, No Doubt, and Ricky Martin. Wow, didn't realize I had typed so much.
So what do you like listening to? Are you still playing Torchlight 2 or have you moved on to other things? I haven't been watching many Let's Play videos recently except for the occasional Pewdiepie video. When I watch his FPS videos I usually end up watching a lot, but I've watched almost all of them already. I've watched him play 7 different FPS games so far, 8 if you count Dead Space 2 (although it's 3rd person) and also a video titled [WARNING] R. KELLY'S FAVORITE GAME! It was both disturbing and hilarious.
I haven't watched much TV or anime recently, but I did start watching Wilfred. I've only watched the first episode, but it was hilarious. I also watched Cat Shit One a few weeks ago. I was great and they CG was amazing in the Blu-Ray rip I watched. Bunnies with guns fighting terrorist camels - it doesn't get much better than that. It's too bad they only made one episode because I don't really feel like reading the manga. I'd definitely recommend it especially since it's pretty short.
I'm constantly amused by those text link ads. In your last comment, this ad appeared under both "friends" and "lonely"

lol, I just watched a Cry of Fear video where there's a few different points where Pewdiepie starts accidentally speaking in Swedish and doesn't even realize it. (one of the comments: You know things are intense when Pewdiepie starts speaking in Swedish) The opposite thing happened when he was doing a Happy Wheels video with Swedish commentary. He kept accidentally switching to English. (one of the comments: I think Pewdiepie is better at speaking English than Swedish).
Cool, in elementary school, junior high, and high school we sometimes played badminton in gym class. When we learned to play the thing you hit with the racquet was referred to as a "birdie", but I found out later that it's also called a shuttlecock. I think I can guess why the name was changed lol.
Yeah, I took a couple of those PE classes in college too. I did basketball, tennis, volleyball, yoga, and tai chi. I also took ballroom dancing, but I dropped it after a few weeks.
My freshman year I'd usually get drunk on the weekends, but after my freshman year I started having health problems so I quit drinking. I tried going to parties and hanging out with people who were drinking, but I didn't find it fun when I was sober.
I'm not sure if you follow the 20+ listening thread (because I posted this there too), but last night I watched a bunch of Saturday Night Live comedy music videos. I tried to limit the amount I chose to share, but there was a lot of good ones. Some are funnier than others while some are good songs even if they weren't that humorous. Also, some you might have to wait till towards the end before humorous part happens.

Hey. How's school going? Are you managing to find time for anime, video games, and hanging out with your friends amidst all the studying I am guessing you have to do? What do you guys usually do on the weekends? Do you party at all? I'm not sure if you saw my last comment, but I was wondering if you still play basketball.
I watched a few videos of Torchlight 2. The graphics are amazing and it has a really cool art style too. The channel I'm watching it on has 2 people doing commentary and each one plays their own character which makes for an interesting dynamic. One player was commenting about how he likes the feature where you can make regular weapon and armor drops invisible so you only pick up the good loot. Then he says that Diablo should incorporate the same feature and the other guy says "shhh, don't mention the D-word".

For me, it's the opposite. I'm not good at taking notes, which will probably kick my ass in the long-run. I also lose focus trying to listen and keep up with classroom instruction, unless the professor or instructor is directly talking with me, one-on-one. Also, with online, you can be more selective with your learning. You look for whatever knowledge you want to. At least that's the way I see things.

School's the best thing ever! Yheeeee! Get those C's! I dunno what an A is, unless it stands for "Average"...
Hmmm. I guess Usagi Drop (my 100th completion) deserves a worthy follow-up. 150 is so not worth it on a show full of melted chocolate (KoiChoco), or on a show with a bunch of loudmouths and perverts (Binbougami ga!).
Frekkk. More anime should be following my example on what I'm doing with online classes. Then maybe they can skip past the classroom nonsense and get straight to the real stuff lol
Not you too! You and Furykury have to watch Kobato. I so wanted to compare Chihayafuru to that show, but I can't. I'm sad now. Well, the two look so similar to each other animation- and production-wise (partly because both are Madhouse productions) and both have that surreal heartwarming feeling surrounding them.

Phantom is pretty damn good, I must say. It even features some nice cars too (probably the best lineup I've seen to date) to go along with the cool characters. I wonder if I should finish it out and make it my 150th completion for TV series, or just leave that milestone to KoiChoco lmao

I know what you mean about the west being so fast-paced. That's part of the reason I meditate every day to unwire from all the social conditioning I received growing up. That's good you were eventually able to make some friends here. My parents want to move to Israel and because of my health I'm going to have to go with them. I really don't feel like learning a new language although a lot of people there do speak English. Do you still play basketball? I used play basketball and a lot of other sports when I was younger.
I grew up playing consoles, but my family did get a computer when I around 12 years old so I like both. I probably prefer using a controller for most games, but I tried with Morrowind and it was really difficult. I was watching Pewdiepie play Condemned 2 on Xbox and he was complaining about the controller and saying he prefers PC games with keyboard and mouse. He really did suck playing that game. It looks like he quit in frustration after 7 episodes even though he played Condemned: Criminal Origins (on PC) to the end. I didn't know what dota was when you guys were talking about it in the 20+ forum, but I just looked it up. I've only played a multiplayer RTS once when I played Command and Conquer: Red Alert with a friend. It was his game and I had barely played it so he crushed me.

Oh, so you've lived in Asia most of your life. What was it like living there? How did you adjust to living in the US? My grandparents lived near the ocean so I'm not sure it was dry, but I didn't really pay attention to that kind of stuff.
When you mentioned Torchlight I thought it was based on that Dr. Who spin-off show, but then I remembered that the show is Torchwood LOL. So it's similar to Diablo? I remember playing the first Diablo. That game was really addictive (as most good RPGs are). I would have liked to play Diablo 2 so I could play as the necromancer. I used to play this text-based MMORPG where one of my characters was a dark elf necromancer assassin. The way the class system worked was that you pick a class and then when you reach level 12 you can choose a career which give you additional skills (and sometimes spells depending on which career you pick). Necromancer assassin was a nice combo because necromancers had a spell called shatter bones that made the target more vulnerable to blunt attacks and another spell called vampiric strike which allowed you to absorb hps from your opponent when using hand-to-hand combat. Then with the assassin career you learn martial arts which increases your hand-to-hand damage even more. The main drawbacks were that you had low hitroll and low defensive skills. I also liked the unlife career for necromancers which allowed you to create zombies to fight for you. That was fun too, but the zombies also had low hitroll.
I actually can't play video games anymore because I have pain in my hands due to fibromyalgia. As you can tell, I still enjoy discussing them. Some of my favorite games Colin McRae Rally, Worms, Bust-a-Move, Pilot Wings 64 and Civilization. I also played a lot of RPGs. Some of my favorites were Destiny of an Emperor, Might and Magic 6, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2, Fable, Phantasy Star Online, Gladius, Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn, Morrowind, and Final Fantasy Tactics. A little over a year ago I tried playing Gladius and Final Fantasy Tactics because both those games have options where you can have the computer control your characters during battle which meant that I didn't have to use the controller as much. It got boring after a couple of weeks though. I also have a Playstation 2 game called Antigrav that uses a motion sensing camera to track the movements of your head and arms instead of using a controller. It's similar to snowboarding games except that you're riding on a hoverboard instead. On each level you can either race computer opponents or ride solo and do stunts for points. I don't play that game anymore because I'm putting all my energy into weightlifting and I'm not able to do both.
Recently, I also have been watching a lot of YouTube videos of people playing video games. I've watched over 200 Pewdiepie videos. I'm also watching Tobuscus play Skyrim and I watched Nerd Cubed play The Sims 3. I just started watching Guild Wars 2 on another channel. There's actually 2 people on that channel doing commentary (each playing their own character). They're both British so they sound the same to me and that gets a little confusing. Once in awhile I'll click on a random video too. For example I watched a video on LSD: Dream Emulator and Lollipop Chainsaw mainly because those games have such outrageous names. I found out later that Pewdiepie also made a video of LSD: Dream Emulator, but then removed it. Someone said it might be that he removed it because there was a scene where the screen flashes a bunch of times and that could trigger epileptic seizures for some individuals.

Yeah, I liked college a lot better than high school. Until my freshman year in college I had never kissed a girl or been to a party. So you want to be a chemical engineer? You must be really smart.
What part of California do you live? I'm from Ohio, but my mom's parents lived in Redondo Beach (around the Torrence area) and we'd visit them every few years. It seems like a really nice place to live and I've taken so many great photos there.
I was also wondering what video games you've been playing recently.
I know you're probably going be really busy with school and everything, but if you liked Pewdie's chats with Cleverbot you should also check out his chat with Evie:

Nerd Cubed also did a really funny video chatting with Evie:

Hey. I was wondering if you'd seen any of Pewdiepie's McPixel videos or his ones where he's chatting with Cleverbot or Evie. If you haven't seen the McPixel ones yet, you might just want to play the game yourself because it's pretty funny even without his commentary.
I read your post about going back to school soon. How do you like college so far? What are you studying?

Wow, yeah I remember Dune 2. I played that as a teen. It was so addicting and it was cool how you could replay the game with different houses. I remember being really impressed with the intro because it had voice acting in it. The only other RTS games I played were Warcraft and Warcraft 2.

Have you heard of The Binding of Isaac? It's made by the same developer of Super Meat Boy. Totally different games though. The gameplay and level design are loosely based on the first Legend of Zelda game. Even the music is similar. I suppose you're too young though to have played the NES.
