| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- What plot, Lord British? LOL Well there was a semblance of it covering the "insane force" as the subtitles I've read says so culminated by the breaking of the Space Obelisk then one catastrophic events after another ensues. In short, it was all over the place like the calamity it was portraying since it was busy running in all directions. Ah what the heck, it was forgettable. 5/10 |

| This is quite interesting. As a kid, I grew up playing Salamander, which was re-named "Life Force" here in North America. I also recognized some of the game's soundtrack when I heard it. "Lord British" may be homage to a character from the "Ultima" game series, as both it and Wizardry were quite popular in Japan in the 80s. |

| Really, really boring for the first half, the characters just talking back and forth and Lord British not listening to anybody. In the second half, once the Gradius heroes were introduced, we see some actual conflict and character development, and it went over pretty cool. They really could have shortened this quite a bit. |
