| That's certainly a very refreshing announcement. Knights of Sidonia was pretty much the only non-Gundam mecha series I've really gotten invested deeply into this decade so far, it just did pretty much everything right besides be 2D, but it uses it's CGI so well it really doesn't matter in the long run. Blame looks interesting too. |

| Wait, Blame is being animated 'within' the Knights of Sidonia series? I guess Nihei's manga could technically all be within the same universe - though perhaps not on the same timeline - but I'd rather he shed light on that first. Is he involved with the anime at all? Not like they'd be doing much in the BLAME! part.Surprised they're re-doing the sound considering how good the sound editing was during the series and finally, Blame gets its movie. That's been floating around in development hell since the original OVAs. I'd expect them to go above and beyond to nail Blame's atmosphere. A series so void of dialogue deserves some immersive sound work. |

| Why must they use the Sidonia team to animate Blame? And in one episode? What the hell does that even mean? The amazing detail in Blame cannot be animated using Sidonia's CG. And the lack of subtlety and atmosphere in Sidonia guarantees that the Blame adaptation will be a failure. |
