1. If Queerats are descendants of humans, that explains why they look so similar to humans, but why does the queen have almost no resemblance to Queerats themselves and none to humans.

2. Why does Kiroumaru hold no resemblance to the other Queerats..

3. Mamoru and Maria's child... It wasn't a fiend, it was raised to think it was a Queerat. That's why the death feedback only worked when he killed Kiroumaru. That means the fiend purposely never killed Queerats or else it would die too (because of death feedback). Why didn't Kiroumaru just go straight up and kill the "fiend"?

4. 4. If the fiend (Akki) didn't feel death feedback from helping Squealers army kill Kiroumaru's army (by disarming them and essentially causing their death) then why did Saki feel death feedback and almost die after producing the plan to kill Akki? We can't assume that she simply had a panic attack because she was already watching Akki suffer for a good chunk of time until she started to feel heart pains. The pains also went away just as suddenly as they came which is not a symptom of panic attacks. She simply convinced herself that she didn't kill Akki.

Thoughts? Good answers please!

1. Because they were likely engineered that way to reproduce efficiently.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexual_dimorphism is something that happens pretty much everywhere in nature. Even humans are sexually dimorphic.

2. It was explained early on that queerats were able to change their appearances at will. This is probably the reason behind all the different looking queerats we saw in the series.
Kuroumaru likely spent a lot of time doing this to himself.

3. Kuroumaru only knew that humans would be unable to kill each other with their powers. Although you do have a point since Kuroumaru should have somehow deduced otherwise since well, in their battle, he probably saw that the Fiend never killed any of his soldiers directly.

On the other hand, the Fiend would be likely guarded by queerats and Kuroumaru might not have felt that he had a chance to strike.
