There won't be one, if you saw the latest episode you'll know that since the preview has no manga content in it. They are obviously making up their own end.

Or...maybe they are setting up for a filler season? How could they wrap up all of that information into just three more episodes?

Then again, it's hard to say either way.

This is not the end of our adventures; our battles are not over yet - narrates Oz as he looks at the Sun rising together with Alice and Gil.

Well it's just an assumption but based on the fact that many anime had an ending like that you could say that I am 99% sure.

Im with Tixy on this. With the direction the anime is going, im not seeing a second season in the near future at all. Would be nice if we got an OVA or something though.

Oh well, at least that way, it wouldn't cancel out the possibility of one completely. If there were to be a 2nd season, I think it would be a year or two later, at least.

I think since the airing of episode 25, your mind should be changing already. There are still tons of unsolved questions and the main plot (i.e. Finding all of Alice's memories) has yet to be completed. This is a fantastic series- lots of comedy, good lines and a very intriguing plot that makes you look forward to more nail-biting moments. There are lots of Pandora Hearts fans who are waiting for a season 2. If anything, I'd say that this season is just a very lenghty prequel to more compelling action later on.

With that said though, I haven't actually read the manga (I don't really like spoilers, meh), so from the perspective of the pure anime watcher, this season definitely has a lot of hanging questions, and the most logical outcome would be to address those questions in later seasons.

I really doubt that the producers would do something like kill off a good series like this by leaving the viewer hanging. That would just be cold blooded murder desu...

Well look at Claymore, it's the same type of ending, nothing was solved in the end and in both anime studio came up with boring and retarded closure. Unless they are going to make a second season entirely based of studio's concept (which is, mind you, highly unlikely) they don't have enough manga material to go on from here.

I hope you're right. And the inner Oz x Alice fanboy in me wants to see more. Because the last two episodes were just not enough for me :/

Err... huh?? That's a mightly bad comparison you've got there. The Claymore anime doesn't need to have anything "solved". The anime's plot started with what the Claymores are, then talked about Priscilla, then about the assault on Pieta and ended with Clare fighting Priscilla, losing Jean and injuring Priscilla enough to make Easley take her back. Clare did fight Priscilla in the end, just like how she wanted, although it wasn't to my expectation (i.e. one of them dies), but if you think about it, the manga is still far away from its end, and by making their own ending (such as whether Pris or Clare dies), it's going to change the whole outlook of the anime and affect the manga as well. If there is a different ending where a character dies, then it cannot be called an adaptation of the original manga at all because that would be changing the whole essence of the original manga. I don't think Norihiro Yagi would be too happy about that, since he hasn't come up with an ending himself, yea?

How can that possibly be compared to PH's lack of any ending?

At the end of episode 25 Oz and Alice are talking and they say that they have to finish all the riddles....if that's not saying there's a 2 season then I dont know what is XD I is 110% sure that there is a season 2 : D and plus Oz and Gil still need to make out 8D *shot* I mean...make up...for that off screen fight they had like 10 years ago : D

I hope there will be.. I hate when the anime is being cut and still have lots of mstery..
Many events still haven't occur yet, same to D.gray-man or 07 Ghost.. They just add an episode that re doesn't occur in manga

So I just finished watching this and looked up how things look with a season 2 after. I don't mind waiting, it's just what you do with lots of series anyway. However, what worries me is the mention of the anime straying from the manga source. Just how bad is it? Did they seriously change something as to make it "unrepairable" in a second season so that they HAVE to go on with an original solution? As in Full Metal Alchemist bad?

Oh and btw what is it with people suddenly writing about another series like Claymore in here without any hesitation to spoil the whole goddamn thing? Especially after watching a series that even made a joke about it, how could you commit this worst sin so casually?
