Having watched many of the usual suspects, quite often the only available options are "season 2 (or more)" of shows that I haven't watched (or worse, where I dropped the first season after a couple of episodes because I didn't like it). So, to comply with the rules of the challenge, I would need to watch about twice the number of episodes (the original season + the sequel that actually counts) in the same amount of time. I've done it before (with Medaka Box Abnormal), but that was exhausting ; I'm strongly considering dropping out of rounds that would put me in a similar situation. (Or even of the challenge altogether if it happens too frequently.) So, is it possible to add an exception for sequels to unwatched/dropped shows ? |
| About the dropped series, I thought for sure that already started can't be used, but now I see it's "It can't be an anime that was recently started by you". How much is "recently"? And wouldn't it be better to just make it "It can't be anime already started by you"? |

| @shina_luna you are up for the next batch (13) @abystoma2 will add to next batch. By recently it meant in case were, for example, an user started a serie about two or four days prior and by chance the partner had that with a high score. But for this challenge nothing started, not matter the date, can't be used. Will modify that in the rules. @Jhiday I thought everyone knew but seems I missed to actually write it in the rules. If the title it's a sequel you can skip it. Since it requires a first season that you haven't seen, and not everyone has the same score for prequel/sequel thingies.... I will add this to the exceptions, thanks for pointing it out (but many have used this rule since this started ;D) So, just in case, the titles you can skip are: sequels (titles that requiere watching something first; are direct continuation), with 60+ episodes and/or tagged as Hentai, Yuri and/or Yaoi |

| Already seen (some of) all the 10s, so it's basically a choice between two of the 9s. While I do want to watch Beck, it's too much of a pain to procure in a timely manner and a convenient format. So I'll watch the random Rurouni Kenshin prequel (never watched any Kenshin before, but it seems standalone and got a Taku Iwasaki soundtrack, so whatever). |
