Yay, I have no complaints about voices in this episode.
The scene about thinking about the name was touching, even in dub.

I'm honestly afraid to keep watching.

I just have a sick feeling that Nagisa's going to die and Tomoya's going to be a single father. On the one hand, I keep telling myself "Nagisa gets sick all the time, and even when you were SURE she was going to die, she made it through. You need to stop worrying already." ... but on the other hand.. people keep telling me that this is a tearjerking anime, and even though some parts had me close to tears, I haven't had an outright bawl fest yet.. but when I look at Tomoya, all I can think is that the worst that could happen to him now would be to lose Nagisa...

Also, when they were talking about tearing down the old school.. I started to get really sad because I miss Fuko.. I hope she wakes up and at least makes a cameo eventually. :'(

Ah! Fuko! I forgot about her! Man, her old haunting ground is gonna go! Booo's!

Anyway, pregnancy development, and Nagisa having a frail body will not help things. It's a shame it'll be before the big hospital will be built, so they might not be able to deliver in their home town. Sad face.

This is Clannad at its best: Nerve wracking everyday problems made super-dramatic

Back into the depressing mood again? There sure were heartwarming moments in this episode but I can't help but feel uneasy for what is yet to come. I'm afraid of what might happen next episode... I guess I'm gonna leave it for tomorrow. I don't think I can handle any more tears today.

Akio's story was intersting but I mean seriously what bringing a sick child into the cold to pray? Seems odd as hell.

This.
Still, good episode. Something bad will certainly happen soon, the atmosphere sais it all.

Akio's past story was pretty sad. I'm glad that he stuck it through and ended up the way he is now. Without his positive energy this show wouldn't last long.

Why did that promise sound so ominous? Whatever happens now, I'll stick it through with Akio.

Okazaki Ushio is a nice name.

Dango Dango Dango Daikazoku!!
I have the feeling something bad's coming, I just hope she survives giving birth!! And considering her medical complications, I don't think it's worth the risk of performing a home delivery. I can understand the emotional meaning behind it, but safety should be the top priority!

nagisa is a retard, seriously hope that cockroach dies in childbirth

knowing jun maeda, they're going to do that and then have some reset ending or something

nice to see all the characters losing their minds and embracing crude sentimentality over common sense

I predict either a miscarriage or Nagisa's death. Not that I want it to happen, it's just what the series seems to hint at.

I dislike the fact that this show is so predictable. At this point I think it's obvious what will happen in the end. Well, maybe I'm wrong.

The promise at the end was really powerful. Kind of like Okazaki asking Nagisa to promise him that she will live till next year (being that the birth will be so dangerous). I was tearing up again.

I just hope the promise won't be broken.

The talk between Sanae and Tomoya is so alarming, I can't somehow endure the uneasiness for the following episodes...

I also hope that the promise won't be broken....
They are so happy, but now those problems with her pregnancy...
Nagisa you must be strong!!
So we can see you with Okazaki and Ushio in the beach ^^
The miracle with Akio when he was with Nagisa when she was ill, that miracle, was amazing...

Akio's story and then calling Tomoya by his name was so cute. I loved how both he and Sanae told Tomoya they were family. Nervous but excited for Ushio to be born. Hoping Nagisa gets through it safely and gets to fulfill her promise with Tomoya.

Wow, intense episode. When Akio, Sanae, Nagisa, and Tomoya sang Dango Daikazoku together, I just had to join in. The rest of the episode was pretty deep stuff. We now know where Akio's hangout is, and he finished his story from two years back (previous season our time). I sure do hope Nagisa keeps her promise. By the way the next episode's title sounds, "White Darkness", I think something sad's gonna happen. Onward to episode 16!

Finally Akio says something that makes sense, but what a story behind it. I'm glad that both he and Nagisa survived.
I have the feeling something sad is going to happen to Nagisa or her baby in either the next episode or later and initially it will have a devastating affect on the family, yet something good may come out of it in the end. At least it feels like this is where this is going. But I like all the characters so much that I feel bad for all of them.
Another poignant episode.

I really suck with sad endings! I mean I could barely handle Kanon/Air. I got through the first season in one piece, how badly have I screwed myself into reaching a super sad ending. Without spoiling please, as I do plan on continuing, and possibly finishing tomorrow.

Also, greetings as I don't think I've really posted before.

THIS COMMMENT CONTAINS SPOILERS

Am I the only one who noticed the foreshadowing afterward of nagisa saying "the tide always comes back to the shore" referring to ushio? I didn't notice it at the time but SPOILER nagisa dies and then ushio follows later... Or Ushio comes back to the nagisa. The tide comes back to the shore. SPOILER I may be over examining it but that really bothered me

So who else is expecting Nagisa to die? Lolol. I mean, realistically speaking, she should die with a weak body like that... I hope not. But considering what a sad anime people said After Story would be, that's highly what's going to happen.

It's like Air. And that shit was depressing.

Flags! Flags everywhere! :) But it was great episode, great indeed, like the moment of flashback when Akio took small Nagisa to the forest glade, that was just beautiful. I wonder if people start to see how all the things are intertwined here.

And they are animating it pretty truthfully, some details were omitted, like the fact that Nagisa stayed out in the snow because she was always waiting there when they went to work.

Anyway, can't wait for the next episode, all the expectations!

What is wrong with Nagisa'a family?? Akio licked his baby and was planning to do the same with his granddaughter, Sanae somehow manages to bake bread with pretty much anything, Nagisa and her Dango song, lol...

Anyway, it seems everything will turn out for the worse...

I think the show will be better if Nagisa dies in the ending, maybe this will make some people think what it really takes to have a child and raise it properly.
