| It's not clear to me whether you want something actually similar to Sakurasou, or just the aspects delineated in the OP. I'm going to assume the latter, as that allows for a much wider range of recommendations. Kotonoha no Niwa - very good art. no, really, it's really good. sola ef - a tale of memories and its sequel, ef - a tale of melodies. The last 2 are romance + drama. All of them have good art, good-looking female mains, and none of the dumb stuff (ecchi, harem, etc) |

| Alright the anime you want is Spice and Wolf. It fits all your requirements. Although the setting is quite different, it matches Sakurasou's theme of genius girl and hard working guy, yet the girl is dependent on the guy. Good art,romance, comedy,drama and Holo is a beauty even if you're not into furries. |

| Well, this is still an on-going anime, and the way that it's presented might actually put you off a bit, but you could have a look at Kimi No Iru Machi. It's romance/drama, the art's alright, the heroine looks fine, and the protagonist isn't exactly a wimp. :x It's the only thing that comes to mind right now. |
| Well i don't have something like Sakurasou at the moment, but i just checked your list, looks like you really enjoyed Clannad. So i think you could like Kanon (2006). It was created by Kyoto Animation and Key too and all your must have points fit to it. |
