Here is a nice pretty picture of chess pieces to get y'all in the mood :)  Welcome to the MAL chess tournament 2015, where MAL will compete in a series of games of chess to see who will be crowned champion and who will be crowned as a loser. I'll think of a cool prize for the winner at some point. Depending on how many people want to play will depend on when I will make the cut off (hopefully 64 or 128 participants), it will be a knockout based tournament, once you lose you're out. I encourage all users including the mods to join in on the fun. If no one decides to sign up then the tournament is cancelled and I'll cry for a day or 2 since I spent a while writing this. The website where all games are played are here: http://en.lichess.org/ Users are encouraged to make an account with their MAL username so you can feel more victorious if you win rather than the website saying "Anonymous Wins!" | The analysis board is something that most won't even notice that you are using, and it's not exactly cheating, but it gets annoying when they try to play out all the possible options before making their move. If you play 1 game on lichess you'll understand what it is |

Its an extra board which replicates your current position and you can just move the pieces freely and it helps you visualize. I'm not fond of it since I think part of the fun is trying to do that in your head, but since its a function within each lichess game, I thought it needed clarification. |
