| You know when you have chapter like 13.5, and you read it but you cant enter it into your MAL lolol. Now im in a situation where i can't remember if i read this extra or not now that i think about it simple user fix can be to mark it in the tag section that he/she read extra or not |

| Most of the .5 chapters that I've seen are actually the same chapter that was split in half because it was too long, which is a decision made by scanlators and not the mangaka. For the few .5 chapters that are sidestories and such, they are added to the total chapter count from what I've seen, with the manga's synopsis mentioning them. |

| What if instead of just using the standard "+" button, there was another button that said "+ half" or something? That way the moderators wouldn't have to update every single manga to make sure all the half chapters are labeled properly, and the option to mark half chapters is left entirely up to the user. of course, perhaps having a second button on the list itself would make things a bit too cluttered... but I don't see any reason why this shouldn't be implemented in the advanced edit screen. If this does get implemented, perhaps they could also give users the option to add half-volumes as well. Half-volumes don't happen that often, but I see them sometimes, such as with Toriko's Volume 29.5 |
