Haha...how I found this manga is pretty much the same like everyone else. Nothing special. ^^ Finished Strobe Edge with complete happiness, but begging for more. T.T And that's what led me to Ao Haru Ride!

Yep, just as I thought, everybody else here is here because of the same reasons I am here. I found Strobe Edge by chance --beautiful manga by the way-- and I had to find more manga like that, so I searched up the author and found this one.

A friend tell me about this manga when she noticed that I was reading Strobe Edge.
I love that manga so she talked me about Aoharaido. Io Sakisaka is a great shoujo mangaka.
Thank you Tsunami ;__;

Randomly picked it up on Manga Readers when a couple of chapters were release. Thought it was good back then, so I had it on my subscribe list - because knowing me, I'll just forget about it. So glad I did, it's one of the few mangas I look forward to read the next chapter.

I found pictures of the characters from the manga & used them a lot. So then one day I decided to see what manga are the characters are from & that led me to read about the manga & then start reading it!:) This is actually my first manga, I used to be an 'anime-only' type of guy but Ao Haru Ride just seemed really tempting to read so I had to atleast give it a chance:) I'm glad I did!! :)

Some clubs have it as their layout now on MAL, and they looked cute and the art style drew me in, so I checked it out and I love it to bits! I didn't think it was so popular until I read it myself. I'm in love with this manga! I want more chapters!

When I finished reading Strobe Edge, I heard that Sakisaka Io was making a new manga, and since I liked Strobe Edge a lot, I decided to give AHR a shot, and boy, best thing I've ever done :) <3

I randomly came upon it when I was on the home page on mangahere and I saw that it was a new manga and I thought a "chapter 0" sounded interesting. Weird, I know. Then I thought, wow this art looks familiar...like the one in Strobe Edge! Ha...ha...ha. Of course it was the same author.

It was very popular, and everyone kept talking about it. Then news came about an anime adaptation, and I felt obligated to start. I read Strobe Edge first (bored me to death), and I had to read AHR before judging Sakisaka's works. I'm on the 9th chapter of AHR, and I'm hooked!

I'm pretty sure it was a recommendation on the page for another manga that I read, but I can't remember which one... Maybe "Orange" or "Bokura ga Ita"? I know I found "Strobe Edge" because of this one, though...

EDIT: WAIT! I remember now! I saw it in the Manga sales charts and thought, "WOW! That sells a ton. I wonder if it is any good?" When I found out it was shoujo romance I was even more intrigued. Really, it sells like one of the big Shounen titles. (I bet the anime will be hugely popular!)

It was in the "hot manga" section. I clicked on it to give it a try and it was amazing. THEN I found out about Strobe Edge since people in the comments were saying how the author put the couple of Strobe Edge in the manga Ao Haru Ride in some scene. Both manga are amazzing.

I was reading another shoujo manga. I can't remember though if it was Strobe Edge or something else, and at the translators page there was always a picture of Kou and Futaba and I always thought they looked so cute and perfect together (even if I didn't know them yet). Then one day in the manga site I read at, Ao Haru Ride got featured and the art looked great so I gave it a shot; my surprise when I found out it was the couple I liked seeing so much ^_^

I had already read "Strobe Edge" from the same mangaka before, and while looking at other works from her I found "Ao Haru Ride" and put it on my future list to read.
Because I struggled so much with "Strobe Edge" waiting for the next chapter, and the next one I wanted to wait till this one was finished before starting to read, but then I saw that it will have an anime adaptation so I had to read it before hehehe
