| "Start it off with a bang! Hado #4: Byakurai!" *Kaos points his zai at Hana, and the bolt of lightning shoots from it rather than from his finger, in an attempt to hit Hana straight on* |

| Hana jumps up high to get out of the way of his attack and while in the air, " Hado 31 Shakkaho" A ball of red energy aimed at Kaos and she landed 80 degrees to the left of her original position. The 4th division was very proficient with Kidos. |

| *kaos was surprised by the agility and quick thinking of Hana. He dove to jump out of the way of the shakkaho, but was clipped by it and sent flying from the explosion.* To himself, "She looks pretty serious. I need to find a way to get around on her." *He gets up and runs right at Hana* "Kagayaku!" *He crosses his zai together again, and a huge flash emanates from them for a few seconds. He thinks if he could get her to lose sight of him, he could get the upper hand* |

| Hana is blinded by the flash for a bit, squinting her eyes as little black dots clouded her vision when the flash disappeared. |

| *sits around* Hello!?!?!!? |
| She doesn't focus art |

| *lays on top of a wall and eats an apple* Hm....interesting. *looks at my hand* |
| *still trys not to get distracted* |

| *yawns and rolls off the wall* X_X I'm ok!...I think...yep ok! |
| *Kaos smiles* "This might be my opening. Kage." *Kaos creates a shadow form to run toward Hana, hoping she will confuse it for him coming at her with an attack.* "Tachikomeru." *Kaos sinks into his shadow in the ground, to try to flank Hana* |

| She notices something running at her, with her shikai activated she swings at it and the water energy goes through it An illusion? How is that possible!? She finally senses Kaos' spiritual pressure coming up on her side, but she was too late to react. |

| *Kaos comes up through Hana's shadow and reaches out to grab her ankles and tries to trip her up* "SNEAK ATTACK!" |

| Hana screams in surprise and the hairs at the nape of her neck stand up. "AIIEEYYAAAHH!" |

| *Kaos becomes startled by Hana's reaction and hesitates, not sure of what to do next* |

| Hana breathes in hard to catch her breath, her face turned red with emberassment as she realized she screamed and nearly jumped out of her skin when she got sneaked up on. To cover her embaressment, she started swinging her sword aiming for the ground around her with the intent to make dents in the earth with the force of the extended water. |

| *Kaos' eyes go wide when he sees Hana swinging wildly* "W-wait Hana! I'm sorry I startled y---" *One of the swings catches Kaos. He is able to get one of his zai in to block the blade, but the force of the water was so powerful that it sent him flying. He lands dazed and in a heap a few feet away from Hana* |

| Hana gasps, "Oh!" and runs over to him. "Are you okay?" she bends over to check on him. |

| Leans up slowly and rubs his head. "tch-tch-tch.... I feel like I got hit by a ton of bricks. Note to self, don't take a direct hit from that again. I think I will be fine though." Looks up at Hana, but has a little bit of trouble focusing on her. |

| "Just be still, you could have a concussion." She gets on her knees to examine his head. |
|
| Kaos stays still like he is told. "Okay, you are the specialist after all." His cheeks turn a little red, partly from being light headed, and partly from Hana getting that close. |

| "Just as I suspected. You should come with me back to the 4th division." |
|
| *looks on* Well, that was a short second battle. *keeps munching on my apple* Mmmmmm, juicy! |
| *slowly tries to get up* "Sure Hana, just one question. Which one of you am I supposed to follow?" |
|
| "Uh oh..." She helps him up and puts his arm over her shoulders. He did weigh a bit more than she did so it was slow going, but she managed to keep moving. |

| *sits down reading a book on a wall, looking up at the sky and laughs* Ah, that's good that's good. *munches on an apple* Hm, nice blue sky today! |
| Kaos walked to the grassy area underneath the tree. Before he started, he wanted to sit and look at the clouds. It helped him get his mind focused for the training he would do. "This is so much better than sitting in a hospital bed." Though he kept thinking that the training won't be as fun now that he had sparred with Hana. He always thought working alone was better, but Hana seemed to have changed his mind. |

| *notices kaos walking by* Hey there!!!! *waves* |
| He sees Art waving to him. "Hello Art-taichou. What are you up to today?" Even though he had second thoughts now of training with someone, he wasn't sure if he was ready to ask a captain to train with him. |

| Waiting for you! *jumps down from my perch* Yeah, I wanted to know if you wanted some training from me! I could use an apprentice, or a lacky, or...whatever title you wish to bestow on yourself. Doesn't make any difference to me. So! You interested? *eats an apple* |
| "Uhhhhh...." Kaos wasn't sure how to answer that question. He was honored that a captain would even ask if he wanted to train under them. At the same time, he had heard the stories of how crazy Art-taichou could get in his antics and didn't know if he wanted to get involved in that. "Thank you Art-taichou." Kaos bows. "I would be honored to train under you." Getting stronger was more important to Kaos than well-being. |

| *Strolling around I noticed Art recruiting Kaos.* Didn't the apple eating show signs of evilness? Next thing you know you'll be killing people with a notebook... >~> Poor Kaos... You'll be controlled in no time... V_V |

| *shuts the files in your face your face* Good than! It's a good time to let you start working on this technique. *pulls out some crudely drawn diagrams* As you know, we as shinigami give off spirit energy, and if ones spirit energy is not near to another persons, they cannot harm the other. *draws my zanpakuto* I have been developing a technique, where if ones concentrates the spiritual energy in one area lets say....the arm, it will cushion the blow turning a potentially lethal blow into a skin wound. *slashes at my left arm, and a shallow wound appears* See? Now, there are a few downsides to this, first you must know where your opponent is striking at in order to concentrate your spirit energy there. Also, if a person keeps on focusing there attacks, the less effect it gets....so will work once, twice if you get lucky. *snaps fingers* Are you paying attention!?!?!?!? *slashes at you with my scabbard* |
| "Yeah, we were taught that in the academy." Takes a look at the diagrams while Art is explaining and begins to have second thoughts about this training. But if it was going to make him stronger, then he needed to tough it out. He sees Art slash his own arm and widens his eyes. Then he sees Sozu walking by and waves. "Hey Sozu!" Gets hit by the scabbard. "Owww! Sorry Art-taicho, I got distracted. I heard something about only using a couple times and difficult to pull off. So what is the first step I need to do to learn to use this?" |

| First, you must visualize the flow of your spirit energy around your body. Then, focus your spirit energy to the limb or appendage about to get hit. Quite simple in theory actually, I shall be happy to see if you can pull it off. I'll even help you! *Steps back and slashes at your left arm with my zanapakuto* |
| Pulls his arm away quickly and jumps back. "Whoa! Let's start this off a little slower first. I can't master it that quickly. Why don't we start off with you telling me what limb you are going to strike and let me build my spirit energy in the place, then you can strike when I say I am ready? You would have definitely chopped my arm off with that last one!" Kaos could see that Art's odd tendencies and ideas were starting to take over this training session. |

| *thinks* Eh, I guess you are putting your life on the line enough already. Fine we'll do it your way. *grumbles though it might not be as interesting* I shall only be attacking your left arm, that way if you lose it you'll still be able to use your sword! *laughs* |
| Raises his eyebrow. "Didn't you just look at my file? I am a dual wielder. I use both of my arms!" Shakes his head and closes his eyes. He was afraid he was going to be regretting this training, but he felt he could trust Art for some reason. He lifted his arm and concentrated his spirit energy into it. "Okay, I am ready Art-taicho. Let's get this over with." |

| Kaos didn't feel like his arm had been cut off, but he didn't exactly know what it would feel like if it did. He opened his eyes to see just a small cut where the sword had slashed. "I think it worked Art-taicho." He began moving his fingers, wrist, and elbow just to make sure that everything was working. He couldn't believe he could do something like that. |

| *laughs* Good Good! So now that that is out of the way. *walks a little ways away* Do you feel up for hitting me with your best shot? |
| Kaos laughs. "I find it hard to believe that I would actually be able to hit you with an attack." Kaos reaches behind him and pulls his two tantos out anyways. |

| Never said I was gonna try to dodge it, or even block it. If I want to know how strong you are, best way to do that is to take your strongest attack. *eats an apple* So hurry it up! |
| "Uh, yes sir! Strike them down twice Shadowbolt." Kaos' tantos turn into zai. His strongest attack was a combo of three of his light moves that had been quite difficult for him to pull off together in battle. He wasn't sure exactly what Art was going to do, but he was going to do what he was told. "Kyokusei." Kaos threw both zai and an electric current appeared connecting them as they flew through the air. It was used to keep them connected as well as shock the opponent when it touched them. The cord caught on Art and the zai wrapped around him. Kaos shunpo'd onto Art's back. "Houden." He caught the zai and stabbed them into Art's back. Houden powered the blades of the zai with electricity. Kaos shunpo'd and appeared a few feet away on one knee. "Tenka." A small cloud appeared and shoots a bolt of lightning down on Art's location, causing an explosion and fire engulfing the area. Kaos wasn't sure how he did or how good the attack was, since he had never been able to use it successfully in battle. He waited to see what had happened to Art. |

| *as the smoke clears, I am still standing, though I have a deep wound on my back, burns marks from the lightning, and I'm bleeding from my head a little bit, I smile and start to laugh* HAHAHAHA! Not bad! Not bad at all! *gets down on one knee and wheezing* Good attack Kaos! But tell me....how do you expect to use that in battle against an opponent? They aren't just going to stand there and let you hit them like I just did. Do you have a way to set it up? |
| "That's the part I have trouble with the most." Even with his speed, it was difficult for Kaos to trap the opponent in that combination during battle. "I've never quite tried it in battle because of the difficulty to pull it off." Kaos began thinking how he could increase his success rate. " I have several attacks that can blind the opponent for a split-second. I could use one of those to disorient my opponent before I use the combo. I also have an ability to travel from one shadow to another. I could use that to get to them quicker." Art was really starting to make Kaos think more than he had been lately. He was finally getting the training he was looking for. |
