I have seen Fruits Basket, Wolf Children, Summer Wars (grandma), Anohana, Steins;Gate, Haibane Renmei, The Wind Rises and Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya and have only cried during Anohana (and that was because of Jintan's freakin letter).

Will Clannad make me cry?

if you not even know about yourself, how about rondom people on internet?

Yes it's sometimes silly.

It becomes worthwhile when you look at the story in retrospective and when you understand what the author was trying to tell you. It's actually a really beautiful story.

Good question. It depends on how you care for the characters.

If you go in with the intent to cry or not cry then there's your answer bro. Just watch it instead of asking random people who don't know you how you'll react

Clannad is like if you turned girls into pokemon and made them have tragic backstories. If that is your kink, you will like Clannad.

So... You watched the majestic brilliant storytelling that are Ookami Kodomo, Haibane and Wolf's Rain,
but Okada's patterned, cliche AnoHana made you tear up?
Woah. That's quite impressive.

It depends on the person really. Before watching Angel Beats, people were telling me that I would cry a lot but I haven't shed a single tear when i finished the whole series.

Good drama doesn't inevitably mean having to cry on.

Clannad is wasteful melodramatic bug eyed bullshit that is too forced to make me cry. After the girl's sister came back to life, I just gave up because it was too ridiculous. If you want a real tear-jeker, try Welcome to the NHK.

I actually quite hate Anohana. Disliked the entire thing.

But the part with Menma giving them letters got me hard.

no for both Clannad and AS, precisely because you'll be watching with the expectation that it will be a sad story.
You can buy lossless digital music from your favorite Japanese artists on https://ototoy.jp/.
The songs are all DRM-free and you can re-download your purchased albums as you wish.
Show your support to your favorite artist if you can!
ps. if you are looking for Japanese albums, you have to search it in Japanese (not romaji). Just copy and paste the name.

It's not even "sad." What it is is extremely deceptive lies that come from the creator's idealized sob story that he wish happened to him. Such is the fantasy of a lowlife who creates shit for other lowlifes.

After Story will if anything
"So wave goodbye to the hope we were born with, and say farewell to the chance of surviving this holocaust of love, this age of lost souls, but I'm holding on with both hands and I'm never letting go."

If you're used to Key's storytelling, and you have a wrought iron heart, then I don't think so. But if you do not, then in the worst case scenario you'll get watery eyes.
If you're like me, someone who gets easily emotional, you'll shed manly tears.
