| In anime, I see males get called "shounen" when they are under 30. Anywho, this anime was adapted from a VN/game. So that means that it shouldnt have any genre (Shounen, Seinen, Shoujo, Josei). Those four genre tags only applies to manga. It also applies to anime being adapted from that manga. It doesnt apply to VN/games, anime originals, or LN. And it doesnt apply to animes being adapted from a VN, anime originals, or LN. There is a manga about this, but the anime is adapted from the game and not the manga, therefore this anime is not shounen, seinen, etc. As for having a shounen tag here on MAL, MAL just doesnt know how the whole Shounen, Seinen, SHoujo, and Josei tag works. I mean, this anime is considered shounen here, but School Days is considered Seinen here. But both of them are neither since they are adapted from a VN/game. |
