Creating an anime themed velcro patch business

Yo, I work at a military store, and I'm thinking of importing anime themed patches from either China or Japan as well as making unlicensed patches from patch companies. Unlicensed, because 1. they're cheaper, and 2. the original Japanese company that makes them no longer makes them.

So here are the list of anime patches I'm thinking of getting/making:
- Blue Steel of Arpeggio
- Evangelion
- Ghost in the Shell
- Girls und Panzer
- Gundam
- Kantai Collection
- Magical Marine Pixel Maritan
- Psycho-Pass
- Stella C3-bu
- Strike Witches
- Upotte!

Some will be priced at $10, most will be priced at $5 or lower. I want to know if anyone's interested in buying patches in that price range. How many are you going to buy and will you spam your friends about it? Anime patches is a dangerous zone and I don't know if it's profitable in the Canadian market.

The store I work at is located in Ontario, Canada. If you're from the US, shipping will probably be $3 or less. I honestly dunno.

So please let me know what kind of military themed anime patches you're interested in. I really want to make this work.

Also, I'm pretty sure I'm writing this in the right section of the forums. I mean, a patch project is technically creative, right?

I don't think military-ish gear & anime go well together :/

My boss is currently interested in getting anime related items such as scaled figures, nendroids, and figmas. He wants to test out the Canadian market on these things. The store is big enough and has enough cash to start an otaku business alongside the current business.

For now, my boss is allowing me to do some research as to whether or not anime themed patches are profitable or not. The store I work at is well known among the military hobby community in Canada.

I wouldn't think so, there isn't very much demand for anime-related patches at all. Personally I wouldn't be interested since I'm the sort of guy who buys only licensed merchandise with the exception of fan art, handmade things and plushies. It wouldn't hurt though to test it out and sell a few.
Anime related items should be fine though, that would be interesting.

I disagree, LemonCup. I went on 4chan and posted about getting military anime themed patches and people are asking for GNP and Strike Witches patches the most.
