Nah, DxD plot is better (both of them) and the fights are more entertaining.

Boobs constantly plastered across the screen doesn't result in automatic better plot. Something like the Bakemonogatari series is a neat way of showing the plot. Like I've said before, Trinity does a better job of getting people hard because the plot is delivered well and in moderation. I've reached my maximum dragon boost? I'll just dragon boost past the limits of boosting! How can one man boost so much?!?! Real great fight there. The Trinity archive system is much more interesting to watch and follow.

Someone hasn't read the novels lol

Attention: You have to have a PhD in studies of the source material to even open your peasant mouth. Nice one, Delusion x Delusion fan. It's a good thing that source material does not equal anime, by even making direct reference to the source material, you're admitting that the Trinity anime > DxD anime.

DxD and Trinity seven are both great series with or without fanservice. There is no reason to argue over something so pointless.

Yep now I know you're talking out your ass if you think that's how the fights are in DxD. Welcome to my ignore list

No problems, mate. Enjoy living in Delusion x Delusion world.

I can respect this, it's just that Trinity Seven is simply on another level of great in comparison.

Now with this Birth of Oppai Dragon/Sekiryuutei arc is complete (that's what BorN mean). Now we just need to wait for Legend of Oppai Dragon arc set date.

Kickstarter for Rokujouma is fully funded. Good work everyone. Lets wait for the result of our hard work together.

You're misunderstanding something, if you take away the ecchi(not refering to nudes) of DxD plot it loses all it's value. The ridiculousness that you get by mixing it a bit with almost every single serious situation of the series is what makes it unique, it's absurd but also really entertaining(especially later in the novels).

Trinity seven plot is barely affected by ecchi( clothes off here and there but that's it) and aside from the MC personality it doesn't have, in my humble opinion, anything that makes it special.

Just wait to this season end and you will know what i'm talking about.

Exactly, that's part of what makes DxD inferior.

Too much chocolate will make you fat, too much ecchi will make you soft. It's funny maybe the first 5-10 times but when you start expecting the "ridiculousness" at every turn, that's when you know it's dead.

Is this season going to include more than 2 volumes? Fight with Sairaorg looks like one from 9-th volume.

I wonder why it's titled BorN? A few theories come to mind but for now I'm just happy that we have an air date. =)

I can think of two good reasons.

This will probably be a 1 cour again. So it'll be Spring 2015...that means High School DxD has aired/yet to air every season now..(Winter, Spring, Summer).

Now, all we need is a fourth season that will air in Autumn of some year.

P.S. Looking forward to this. Really enjoyed the series, despite the boob overload.

BorN is actually "B" or "N" since the boobs make a "Booo~N" sound so they took the "B" from the beginning and the "N" from the end and added "or" in the middle

In terms of story definitely. Call me when you get mythical ancient evil dragons showing up to fuck shit up in Darkness. Azi Dahaka and Grendel would slaughter Darkness in an instant. To LoveRU only has the fanservice going for it and a few good characters. Plotwise it's incredibly flimsy and a girl with a harem plan is not enough to make up for that. I still like the series but don't think for a moment that it's some jewel of the genre.

No I don't. Even as an MC Issei is better than indecisive Rito who has magnets for tits and ass and crotch on his face and hands.

Says the guy who disregarded the plot in one of his posts following your first >_>
The Harem aspects CAN be connected to the story which is what DxD actually does.

That is what puts it above the episodic slapstic schemes that Momo comes up with with to get the girls with Rito who is still hovering between making his choice.

There are some RIDICULOUSLY heavy and grim events later down the line that are only amplified by the harem aspect and serve to prove how genuine the feelings of the girls in Issei's group ACTUALLY are.

Wait, so ignoring the strong point of the series makes it inferior?... I had no idea.

I don't think we're referring to the same things, because as far as the past seasons went there were only 2 of these moments. Next season will have 3 of those and that's all.

Comparing to the amount of times that arata has done something imposible and cool in the manga (because f*ck i'm a badass MC), the numbers pale in comparison.

Is there actually something memorable about Trinity seven's plot? because as i said before i found it barely special(not even in execution or concept), so i don't see your point here.

Regarding the Trinity Seven-DxD debate:

DxD doesn't just throw fanservice out there for the sake of fanservice. Most of the time, the ecchi has a legitimate use in the plot somehow (take Dress Break for example - it's still being used to this day to defeat enemies). Several more examples of this are spoiler-area, so I'll tag it just to prove my point:

The thing with DxD is that the ecchi is actually really deeply intertwined with the plot (as hard as that may be for some people to believe), to the extent that it makes it magnificently serious yet hilarious at times as well. I'd also go so far as to say that the harem aspect of DxD is far superior to any other ecchi/harem series (although this ultimately boils down to personal preference for everyone), where the emotional bonds are extremely deep and everyone really does care deeply about one another, compared to TLR where the bonds aren't as strong or Trinity Seven where, from what I've heard, Arata doesn't care as much about the girls as a whole. MC and story-wise, nothing even needs to be said for those who've read DxD's LNs. And the only reason I'm mentioning the source material is because the anime hasn't caught up yet to a lot of what I'm mentioning here, so anime-only viewers might be thinking "what the fuck is this guy talking about?".

I can't say much about Trinity Seven, but from what I've seen so far, the harem aspect isn't anywhere near as good as DxD's. Even from an anime-only perspective, it's a bit fast how the girls just fall for him. What's the reasoning behind it?

So if that's Sairaorg Bael Ise is fighting in the PV, that doesn't happen in the LN til, i dunno, vol. 9 at least. That confuses me.It makes sense they would continue with the 2 volumes per season rate, but if Sairaorg is in this season, then either they are doing events out of order, cramming 4 volumes into one 13 ep season (vol. 8 was short stories only), or (and i hope this is true) they're making a 2-cour season. That would be awesome, and it would allow them to catch up somewhat to the LN.
