So would you rather watch one Anime at a time, or how many Animes would you watch at once?

I only ever watch one series at a time.
The only exception would be a long running series and a short one.
Oh and btw "animes" isn't a plural.

I have a considerable PTW and I only plan to watch one at a time. Well an exception being keeping up with Detective Conan. For me it ruins the enjoyment factor to be watching more than one at a time. I'm in no rush to finish anime, only enjoy the story that it depicts.

Same here I try to always pick one series out that I will watch from start to finish next to the long running series like One Piece, or Hunter x Hunter that I picked up when I was younger xD but there is a bunch of new interesting Animes that came out recently , so Im watching those as well.

Here is another Question if a bunch of interesting Animes came out, would you rather wait until it finishes or would you watch it, next to the Animes that you are currently watching?

It's impossible for me to restrict myself to one single anime. My spontaneous and erratic personality makes it so that I keep starting new things even when I haven't finished what I've started.

I usually avoid ongoing series because I hate waiting a week for shit to happen, but it can also be comfortable to be restricted to one episodes when you're like me and have 8 other anime that you're watching simultaneously as well.

One at a time unless they're still airing

...This is my problem with manga, my entire PTR list is composed of things that aren't entirely released or scanlated

I have 500< on PTW, that's a lot, I reckon.

I watch one at a time plus 2-4 airing. Not in a hurry to finish them.

One at a time, mainly out of the fact that there are hardly any good shows to watch as the majority of shows out there are blatant garbage.

I usually watch 2 airing and 2 older anime at once, unless I'm busy with life then I only watch one at a time.
And I have about 100 anime on my PTW

Well know I'm waiting SAO 2 to finish airing.
Also, I'm waiting for Fairy Tail to have at least 30 episodes.
Akame ga kill, also waiting for it to finish airing
Also waiting for Zankyou no Terror
Also waiting for Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance.
So I usually wait them to finish and then I marathon them.

But still....when Highschool DxD 3, Log Horizon 2 and My Teen Romance Comedy 2 (Oregairu) will air, I don't think I'll be able to hold myself back untill they are finished airing :D

Well, I think this question is up my alley (since I have about 700 on my PTW and over 1k in my PTR). I usually just watch 1-5 at the same time, ignoring currently airing shows/manga, the latter numbers being more common when it's a season without many series I'd like to watch.

so for you it depends on how much you love the Anime but generally wait for it to finish, I think thats great but I will not be able to do that. There is just something special about watching the newest and latest that I can't ressist xD

Does that mean you wouldnt watch Anime like One Piece or Naruto until they finish? or lets say Season 2 of Attack on Titans just came out would you still not watch any of these?

Airing, watch many at one time.
Currently watching more than 20, but my schedule is messy.

I would only watch two anime at a time. Luckily, I only have around ten in my PTW list, and that's fine. Otherwise I would simply lose track of all the series.

If I'm caught up with a show, or in other words, I've seen the latest episode of it, I can handle having 3 or 4 of those shows on my "watching" list. Currently I only have two of those with Naruto and One Piece, but I'm currently marathoning the shit out of HxH and I'm about to be caught up with that show as well.

But I don't watch more than one show that I'm not caught up on. Just too much for me. I see people on this site that have like 30+ shows on their "watching" list and I don't understand how they do it at all.

well my advantage is that I'm into anime for only half a year, so there still are good series that I didn' watch.
If I were a veteran who already watched the good stuff, probably I wouldn't be able to wait either

By ignoring airing shows I meant within those 1-5 (for example, right now I'm watching 17: 4 from my PTW and 13 that are currently airing).

Answering the question, when it comes to manga, I'd wait (I usually dislike reading stuff still being published. When it comes to anime, I'd just count them as airing shows until they get to about 50 episodes where I'd put them instead in my 1-5 limit/on-hold list.

I only ever watch one series at a time. When I'm watching few of them at the same time, I can't focus on either one.

I have a really large PTW list, but I still avoid watching more than a few series at a time. I just like focusing on one thing. Watching too many at a time makes me lose interest in some of the things I'm watching which then leads me to drop some.

I am watching five or six different series because I was so excited to watch them. When I finish them, I plan on sticking to one or two series at a time, three maximum.

I stopped the habit of watching loads of anime's at once, I'm only watching a couple, but before I'd be juggling between about 9-12 anime's at one time, throughout months i'd watch a few of each, slap me pls
But I stopped, and canceled it down ^^

My currently watching is generally around 20 shows, most of them currently airing with a few finished mixed in. I like to watch a bunch of shows at once, but if I get particularly hooked on a finished show I will marathon it.
