I thought this show was going to be so awesome. I was really hooked from the first episode and it was good for a while, but it's been lagging like crazy... I just watched 11 raw and all I can really say is, it doesn't matter that much what they do with 12 anymore. They wasted so much time, no matter how cool the final episode is, I still feel extremely cheated by Rin's total lack of activity. Anyone else feel this way?

I can't say I agree with you yet since I'm only 8 episodes in so far, but my interest in this show has been waning the past few episodes. I'll finish watching no matter what though since it's close to the end anyway.

I've liked it so far but I think it would be better if they made a second season. That way they can add more depth to the story. Will they do this? Probably not :(.

Yeah I really really doubt a second season. It doesn't seem like the type of show that gets a sequel. If it were 24 eps instead of 12, I wouldn't be complaining, but right now I feel like I've pretty much watched the entire show waiting in vain for the action to start. Rin did a couple of pretty cool things, but it never culminated into anything and we're already on the last episode.

I think they tried to add too much info in a short span of episodes. It could have used a second season to expand on the story and perhaps add some background on some the characters like the guy with the black eyes and the one with white hair. Sorry, I can't remember their names at the moment and don't feel like looking it up.

The moment the story went to the terrorist/political plot, I stopped watching. I thought this would be pure sports show

I was hoping it was going to stay a sports anime as well. I was really into the whole idea of racing the RideBacks, not fighting with them. Alas.

I agree - there was alot this show could have been - and it could have been done better in many ways. Trying to be different it dodged being a action/sport/drama/polotical-war and ended up being an adventure into nowhere.

In the end 12 eps and the kinda 1/2 in 1/2 out approach lead it to feel abit glass half empty.
Not that the show didn't have its good points but it's a shame in that they didn't capitalise on an idea which had great potential - reminds me of Chaos;Head in that way.

I was thinking the same thing. A ex-ballaterina becoming a world class motorcyclist would have made for an awesom series. I was, in fact, hoping that at least the first half, if not more, be focused on this. The next step would be to slowly become involved in the terrorist/political aspect of it.

Twelve episodes was not enough to do the series justice. A minimum of 24 would have been good. The series was just to rushed.
What if the Hokey Pokey is what it is all about?

Well, I thought it was decent at best. I never bothered giving up on this show when it was on.

I find most of the episodes boring which wasn't what I expected prior to starting it.

In retrospect, it seems like one of those shows that simply isn't compatible with the one-cour TV anime format. That, and the story itself is such a bizarre combination of the politics and terrorism of Code Geass or Ghost in the Shell: SAC, and a main character with a backstory that would be found in a sports anime with a much lighter atmosphere. Maybe there was more time to flesh everything out the dichotomy of these widely differing pieces wouldn't have been a problem, but that wasn't the case here.

That, or the mangaka shouldn't have made such a strange story to begin with and settled for a slightly sci-fi racing story. That probably would've been much better anyway.
