That's kinda stupid and annoying.You can't just have several chapters of drama, several serious issues (trespassing in restricted area of a noble's house, perjury, slandering several nobles) all of which could easily end up in someone losing their head or a war, end in such an anti-climatic and illogical way. Like come on man, one side has much more to lose, so this kinda ending makes even less sense considering how little the protagonists capitalized on that fact. Not to mention that they had almost nothing to lose from doing so, and letting those actions goes unpunished actually hurts their image, and makes them look weak. Man that was stupid. |
