| I don't care anymore. I have been so repulsed and alienated by this entire enterprise that I am completely renouncing my emotional investment in this. Unless, by some sheer miracle, they manage to do a 180 and bring this Titanic of a disaster around before it hits the proverbial iceberg (not like it hasn't already), I refuse to consider this canon. I consider this the embodiment of all of the worst aspects of today's nostalgia-pandering, money-grabbing industry. It's like it was made by someone who had absolutely no idea what made the original so endearing. |
