All fans of josei anime and manga are welcome to join!

Josei is a somewhat rare type of anime/manga aimed at older teen and adult females, basically a mature version of shoujo. The stories are more realistic in style  and tend to be about everyday life and situations. Some popular examples of josei include: Kuragehime, Nana, Hachimitsu to Clover, Paradise Kiss, and Kimi wa Petto.

Do you feel like Josei anime is Growing?
-I do, anime is expanding in many ways and forms, from Shojo, Slice of life, Ecchi, and Romance Comedy.
-Its great because I'm not a fan of watching Shonen except on occasions.

-We are starting to see anime that is getting away from the usual high school to College and work life.

True, it seems like there's plenty of potential for new series out there. It's just a matter of someone gathering ideas together and turning them into an interesting story. I feel like josei anime and manga would have a bigger following if there was more content. I know I'd love to have some new shows to watch :'( Also, it's a couple days late, but Happy Anniversary! Our club's 4 years old now!
