The first time I saw Claymore it was during autumn evenings while eating macaroni and cheese. Leaves were falling off the trees outside. It was cool but still warm enough to keep the window open.

For some reason it really matched the mood of the anime, like how the ED has leaves at the start, and how there's many scenes that kind of had an autumn lighting to them. Anyways, watching Claymore made the mac and cheese extra good. Really good times. 😊

The Battle in the North is iconic, but it's really sad that anime ruins the ending. If someday they decide to do a remake, I hope they do it according to manga and don't invent anything strange.
