Unofficial MyAnimeList API - MyAnimeList.net

Information

I'm working on an unofficial API for MyAnimeList on top of the current official API.

The main reasons I'm working on this are:

* development of the official API is stagnant,
* the official API is insufficient and has bugs that haven't been fixed for a long time,
* to focus on the more commonly used features on MyAnimeList.net, and
* to provide a developer-friendly API following HTTP REST principles.

I'm looking for testers and feedback, do make a wall post or forum post if you have any ideas or wanna help test.

Same here. Actually I've encountered 502-error many times. Usually it lasts no more than 12 hours. Let's wait and see how things turn out...

mal.api.com server is giving me:
502 Bad Gateway

Anyways, I worked on the manga support on my client I'm working on (MAL Client OS X) and the manga updating, list/info loading works perfectly... It only took a few days to work out the whole thing...

Hi guys, thanks to gcassonnet on Github (http://github.com/gcassonnet), the mangalist and manga search API methods have been implemented (changelog: http://mal-api.com/docs/changelog.txt).

Please let me know if any of you also do want to help with developing the API (I'm not actively working on it as you can tell). But I'll gladly accept patches and contributions on Github http://github.com/chuyeow/myanimelist-api, as well as keep the API web server running indefinitely.
