Just read your blog post about playing Visual Novels on mac, great post but you should mention that it's actually possible to emulate the CD Drive from a Disk Image or similar under wine. I don't have the exact details right now, but I know you can re-route the device letters (I once mounted my DS's memory card as Drive Z to get a certain application to work) and if you fiddle with the settings for a bit then you can re-route essentially anything to anything. Wine requires a bit of work (namely installation of X11 from the OSX install disc, the use of the MacPorts system and a lot of command typing) but is worth it!

I found your blog and I was reading some reviews. They're really nice! I love Clannad and Clannad ~AS~ too. I intend to watch most of the animes of your list :)
