Yoshimori Sumimura (墨村良守) The main character. Yoshimori is a 14-year old middle school boy who is the 22nd kekkaishi of the Sumimura family. Has remarkable strength and stamina but lacks accuracy. He also has picked up the hobby of making chocolate castles, and is getting good at it. It is also stated during the series, both by his grandfather (Shigemori Sumimura) and his older brother (Masamori Sumimura) that he has remarkable latent abilities in both the capacity of his kekkai energy and its techniques (possibly one of the greatest kekkaishi's in terms of power). Also it is noted that he is clumsy, lazy and is in love with Tokine but he hasn't told her that yet. He is also desperately trying to protect Tokine all the time due to the fact that she was hurt once in the past protecting him. Since then, he strives to be more powerful and a better user of the kekkai in order to be able to protect her. He also states that he wants to seal Karasumori's power so that Tokine won't be hurt ever again. -Wikipedia Voice Actors
