See #25-21.

See #10-1.

#20Shinjitsu no Uta (Song of Truth)” – InuYasha: can't get the damn video for whatever reason. Don't understand why, b/c I've uploaded other ED themes from the same show. "Tarded". >:-/ an amazing song that I used to go to sleep to.

#19Life is Like a Boat” - Bleach: the english really threw me off when I first heard it. Not like its a bad thing. Its a very nice song with nice animation. And I enjoyed seeing Rukia in it. She really is sexy when she's not yelling at Ichigo, getting impaled or getting kidnapped. Jesus Kubo! Why did you have to mess with such an awesome character?

#18Chiisana Inori” – Fruits Basket: this is perfect song to help you wind down and relax after a dramatic and heartbreaking episode of Fruits Basket. God I miss that show.

#17Hikari to Kage” – Casshern SINS: by this point in the list you should have a good grasp of my taste in ED theme songs. The song is very soothing and moving at the same time. But the imagery is what really hit a chord with me. Throughout this series you see the characters struggling with death endlessly. Some seeking it, some fighting it until the bitter end & others gently accepting their fate and trying to find beauty or peace with the remaining moments. In the animation, you can see everyone lying on the ground, but you can't tell if they're peacefully sleeping or dead. Or maybe those two options are one & the same. Regardless, I think this theme allows you to see it as you wish. Happy or sad, good or bad.

#16Onna no Ko Otokono Ko” – School Rumble: what can I say? Oh I know! "La La La-La-La La-La-La-La-La-La-La-La La-La-La, La La-La-La LA LA!

#15Orange” – Toradora!: If you replace something I like, then you're pretty much damned! You have no hope of me coming around & liking you. Well, maybe not in this case.

#14Every Heart” – InuYasha: InuYasha had a string of quality ED themes. Often the imagery was similar, but the songs were always beautiful. The live orchestral version of this is a highly recommended listen.

#13Raspberry Heaven” – Azumanga Daioh: a perfectly nonsensical song to match the show.

#12Kimi ni Mune Kyun (kyun)” – Maria+Holic: WOW! What a strange & catchy theme! Plus for us old 8 & 16-bit fans the animation was great fanservice! It even has the notorious auto-tune in it. Who knew that this song was originally sung by a group of guys! NO JOKE. This song was born to be in a trap anime! XD "Kyun!.... Kyun!"

....creepy.

#11Truth” – Revolutionary Girl Utena: "Miss-ing truth and forevah! kissing love and true your heart!" I NEVER skipped this ending theme. It rocked hard! True to the anime itself, it was surprisingly simple, but had some strong symbolism. The song more than anything carried this theme to it's spot.

More shounen titles!

You do make me want to see Inuyasha more with each one of these songs.

You picked some good ones though.

I think thats the only Bleach EN I remember. I liked it though.

Fruits Basket ... meh

I agree with with Tehno on that school rumble song. That is adorable and is probably my favorite song from the series. There is a live action version featuring the singer who is an idol and she is just as cute as she sounds. Ill probably watch it this month anyway though.

Azumanga Daioh... I think I need to see that series to understand the context and get anything out of it. That was too silly.

Artistically the Maria Holic EN is pretty entertaining and original. I have such bad feelings overall from that anime its difficult for me to think of it being on a favorite list of any kind.

All these Utena songs on both your lists made me DL the series last week. I want to watch it soon but I lost a little interest when Tehno said it wasnt that yuri! :( Ill probably watch it this month anyway though.

The Bleach-grish ED theme, wow! I hadn't heard that in a long, long, long time. Admittedly I like songs like Rolling Star and Thank You, the second ending song, I think. Not to mention the Engrish Tonight, Tonight, Tonight.

And Laura Bailey's English version of that song was so pretty... do you know the woman who originally sang it died in her forties? ._. It's really sad, but she put out lovely songs before she left this world. It's ironic how she also did music for an anime like Fruits Basket, where Tohru has to come to terms with the death of her mother.

School Rumble ED: BEST CUTE SONG IN EXISTENCE.

Am I the only one who thinks Vanilla Salt was the best song to come from Toradora??

The Azumanga ED makes me sad for some reason. Like... when you realise that there is no more Azumanga Daioh and the girls have all
hearing this songs makes it even sadder to think about it.

Kimi ni Mune Kyun was the only thing I liked about Maria Holic.
