See #20-11.

See #10-1.

Honorable Mentions

"Virtual Star Hasseigaku" - Revolutionary Girl Utena: what can I say, its hard to choose one ending theme over the other.

“Dearest” – InuYasha

“Who’s Theme” – Samurai Champloo

"San Francisco" - Samurai Champloo

“The Real Folk Blues” – Cowboy Bebop

“Mosaic Kakera” – Code Geass

"Baseball Ending Theme" - Samurai Champloo

#25Beautiful Emotions” – Noir: Breathy songs usually bore me to death or lull me to sleep. I prefer the latter over the former. It usually tells me the song is soothing as opposed to lifeless. There is a lot of imagery & symbolism. I think someone I've talked to about it said it best, "Noir's ending was in my top 10. It's Akino Arai, man! And I loved the ending animation for it too.

The way you don't see anybody's faces, and you're left to speculate what's going on.

Who's the woman in the bedroom? Is it Mireille? We know it's Kirika on the beach, smiling as though she could finally make peace with herself. So when did this happen? Was it during the series, when they went on a job? Was it after they became the true Noir...

#24Still Doll” – Vampire Knight: I love the song's dark theme and the animation's matching imagery. Despite the beauty presented, there was still something twisted about it.

#23Shiki no Uta” – Samurai Champloo: this almost didn't make the list, but who am I kidding. I love this song! And as usual for Champloo, it has gorgeous animation & still art.

#22Suna no Oshiro” – Vampire Knight Guilty: creepy, driving & breathy. I think those adjectives best describe this song. Another dark ending theme for the Vampire Knight series. The animation was nice & one of my favorite moments in any opening or ending animations is the scene where you see the blood butterfly. REALLY creative!

#21Yume no Tamago” – RahXephon: the animation is very nice. Dream is the word that comes to mind when watching this theme. Soft is the second the thing. Its as if the song is being sung in an endlessly open space. There isn't much else to say about this gently moving piece of art.

There is alot of difference between your favorite Op and EN songs in terms of the styles! I havent seen alot of these shows except Vampire Knight. These vids are making me want to see Utena and Champloo though. The only thing I didnt like was having to listen to those horrible english dub parts :P

I probably will have the Cowboy Bebop EN in my list too.

Someday I will watch Inuyasha. I have seen a few episodes of it when I lived in the states, but all out of order and not really understanding the story. Probably watch it soon though, with the new anime coming up and all that will hopefully give it an ending that I have heard the first series lacked.

Heh, all your honourable mentions for Samurai Champloo are my top songs! SamCham had an amazing score, and probably is the only anime in existence in which I love the OP, EDs and INS songs.
