One of the great things about animation is the sheer inventiveness that the creative minds are able to translate and display on-screen, and that couldn't be more true for we have here. Behold The TV Show, a fine example of the exquisite choreography, dazzlingly imagery, unbelievable creativity, inventive presentation and flawless blend of music and visuals that can be created from the mind of someone who knows just how unrestricted animation can be.
The TV Show was made independently by Sugimoto Kousuke in 2009 along with Manabe Takayuki who supplied the music. What these two have conjured is an absolutely insane piece bursting with creativity that
follows various characters as they and their worlds are mashed together as if someone were constantly changing the television channel.
The story comes across perfectly with the videos use of transitions that constantly zoom in and out of the locations and along with its vibrant colours (which are assigned to each and every location before blending together at the stunning climax) and endless movement, The TV Show is without a doubt a feast for the eyes.
The visuals and music work together as if they were an ensemble and the characters and backdrops never fail to steal your attention. Repeat viewings are not only recommended, but should be a must with the amount of action and detail that we are treated to in only three and a half minutes. There is always something to look at and always something new to take in on every viewing.
The pace and build up to the mindblowing finale are perfect (again the music helping out a lot) and the fact that this music video was created independently gives you yet another thing to marvel at. Watch this, be dazzled, then watch it again and again and again and forevermore. read more
