In both anime the main character steals the stuff that evil power is possesed 

Both involve Kaitous who are stealing the artwork for various reasons. Deep plotlines and such you will enjoy. ('Specially their manga versions.) 

Both series feature the main character turning into a "phantom" thief to steal objects of value for the greater good of the world. In actuality, Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne is like the female version of D.N.Angel. 

the story is kinda the same. two people goin after works of arts, and someone trying to catch a thief. it's pretty cool! 

The only difference is that in Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne the main characters is a girl, and in DNAngel the main character is a boy. They both morph and kill demons. And the police is chasing both :) 

Yup, they're REALLY similar o_____o'' Its cuz of the thieves, the police and stuff... A friend who wants to catch the thieve. Weird o___o' Well i still like this series cuz Dark is soooo hot 8DDD 

The main character is a thief who steals items that are possesed by evil while being hunted by the police. They both have a friend hunting their alter ego and a cute little "sidekick". (As long as you consider Finn cute anyway xP) Both involve angels as well. Also both main characters are a little clumsy at times. This makes the mood and the atmosphere quite similar. Both shows involve a lot of romance which gets complicated because of the double personality of the main character. 

Both the main characters transform into someone else to "steal" works of art 

both are about love and stealing painting to save the world!! 

They both evolve around a main character who is a phantom thief. There is comedy, romance and action. 

The main characters are both thieves trying to hide their identities and know the detective after them. In D.N.Angel the main character is a guy while in Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne the main character is a girl. 

Both are dual identity phantom thief magical stories with lots of action as well as romance and cute art in it. 

Both main characters can be ''one person by day and another by night''. 

I think both series are similar in terms of transformation. Both main characters like Rikuo and Niwa are effectively shy and kind with women but they both have something to hide and this is the ability to become a powerful and a different person, in DNA daisuke becomes dark while in NNM, rikuo changes into a white haired man that shares the same name. Both have the ability to produce humor, drama, supernatural events and finally, ACTION. Although the era is different and the protagonists do not share the same goal, you will enjoy both series as their parallel story progress. 

In both animes the main character has a dormant power that can be awaken and turn into a different person who holds lots of power and is well known. 

Alter egos are awesome. If you like how Daisuke turns to Dark, then you might like Rikuo turning to Lord Of Pandemonium. They have similar plots that uses the powers of darkness to protect their loved ones and comrades. 

they are both kids that randomly transfer to another cool "person"  

Both are about a phantom thief stealing things while being hunted by the police. The main characters act a little similar during the heist but their motives are a bit different. In both, however, the life as a thief runs in their family. Both shows involve romance but it's more of a subplot in Magic Kaito and plays a more important role in D.N.Angel. They have supernatural elements as well, though more so in D.N.Angel. D.N.Angel is a bit darker while Magic Kaitou tries to be more comic.  

D.N.Angel is about a infamous thief to stop mysterious events from happening Magic Kaito1412 is about an infamous thief to find about his dads death and stop a bad organization D.N.Angel more "dark" and Magic Kaito more on the fun side D.N.Angel family son gets power to turn into a thief at a certain young age hmmm maybe 13 Magic Kaito I guess if you want to be the thief Both have childhood friends that can be your girlfriend Both have police involved  

- Both animes are about a school boy, who gains an alter-ego as a phantom thief. - Both main characters have been trained in the skills necessary for their thievery by their parents and both have a love triangle going on between the main, a girl he likes and his alter-ego (with the girl being completely ignorant of the main and the thief being one and the same, of course.) - These two series share a very similar atmosphere. That's why I think it's safe to say that, if you enjoyed one, you're likely to enjoy the other. 

Both are phantom thief related stories with family history of phantom thievery as well as daring action in it as well too. 

In both series, there is magic and mystery in the present world. As such, both the main male and female protagonists are involved with strange factors throughout each episode. Both series has comedy, drama, and some action. There is also some romance in both series. 

both focused on mcs having a dual personality nature as well as having thriller elements in it as well too and also ancient artifacts as well too. 

Both are supernatural themed stories,with nice art and character designs and a young mc as well in it too. 

They are both stories of a phantom thief. Though I personally prefer Magic Kaito, I see that D.N.Angel has a really similar idea and also tackles the idea of a double personality just like Conan and Shinichi from Detective Conan. (Magic Kaito is a special of Detective Conan.) 

Like Daisuke [DN Angel], Shino [Hakkenden] discovers about himself in his youth, becoming a receptacle for a strong fighting spirit at his side: Murasame [Hakkenden] likewise Dark [DN Angel]. Although Hakkenden's plot passes a few decades ago, as DN Anguel passes in a modern world, both seek out magical artifacts that pose danger to the world, so they want to save the world to protect those who are important. 

Both are magical themed series as well as focusing on collecting certain objects as well as lots of cute art,action and character designs too.

Both have angelic related elements to it, focuses on a ya cast and their antics as well as also lots of nice art,action and character designs too. 

Both are angel themed shoujo series with a mc with supernatural powers as well as also lots of nice art and character designs and fun to look at action as well too. 

They Both deal with theft 

Is that even possible?I mean clones and 2 souls in one body? Could it get any weirder? Yes it can, it also gets sad,scary,funny,and really good.Keeping secrets can be harder than you think. Watch this magical anime and see for yourself. Your in for one anime you`ll never forget because its sooo good! 

Aw, I see that someone else beat me to the recommendation... oh well. I feel like I have to make this. The whole time I was watching this, it just sorta screamed Sukisho to me. The whole two people-one body thing. And D.N. Angel feels like it sorta hints to shounen-ai. That might just be me. Sukisho=way more shounen-ai than D.N. Angel. But both are very enjoyable. 

Both are very artistic in nature and have very beautiful music. It all has a classical feel that makes it very welcoming. Both have big emphasis' on love and romance. They also have the main characters go through transformations due to their love.
