Sexy Commando Gaiden: Sugoi yo!! Masaru-san

They both share the same kind of humor, and both have weird things that happens in school. 

Cromartie is pretty much the spiritual successor to Sexy Commando. Both are filled with nonsensical plots and characters, deadpan responses, and overall weirdness. 

Sexy Commando and Cromartie High School have the exact same absurd, over the top humor, that makes you laugh till you drop. Beware! Too many episodes in one seating can cause severe breathing problems ;) 

Both shows have the same type of comedy and dead pan humor set in a high school. Both involve over the top occurrences that are everyday for that school and both shows have that one normal guy who inexplicably hangs out with all the weirdos. Both are animated by top animation companies yet both shows purposely cut corners when drawing all the time and use random unrelated backgrounds. They even panel two characters talking to each other similarly. Random things might be in the screen at any given time and arrows or sounds might point them out. Both are random af, both are funny, both have a pretty unique art style, both are crazy, both have some high dudes doing crazy shit and both have a catchy OP.  

Both are ridiculously funny and are completely random. 

Both have not so beautiful animation. Both are about a school club doing stupid things. Both have exaggerated humor and both gave me a good laugh. 

Main character is superpowerful (though in very different ways); zany humor mixed with absurd situations; a huge parody of conventional anime themes; feigns seriousness; hilarious. 

Both series are set in gag/sketch comedy situations and evolve around the very obscure japanese comedy style. You will either love this kind of anime or hate it. As for me I find them pretty slapstick hilarious.  

Both Bobobo and Sexy Commando follow a group of martial artists who win battles by being so random and weird that they catch their opponents off guard. Bobobo and Masaru are similar leaders, and Fuumin and Beauty are similar tsukkomi, or "regular" characters. Neither series takes itself seriously and both parody genre stereotypes. 

Both have same art styles, violence and very random humor. Both have sex innuendos but Ebichu takes it to the next level. Sexy Commando has more random scenes and can be considered "tame" compared to Ebichu.
