Urusei Yatsura (2022) 2nd Season

So far, this season has been an excellent addition to the Urusei Yatsura series. The animation quality was slightly worse than in the first season, but when good animation was needed to elevate certain scenes, they delivered. One thing I like about this season is that they gave a lot more tender moments between Ataru and Lum, with the abundance of funny moments, there are times that you'll forget that you're watching a fundamentally romantic anime. This season at least reminds you of that.

MAISONdes delivered once again with this season, the opening and ending is excellent. The tracks used in some of the scenes were ... phenomenal. The voice acting was top-notch, particularly from Lum's VA.

Humor will always be subjective, so I can't say if you'll find this season funny. But it's pretty consistent with the first, if you found the first season funny, at least to an extent you'll find this one funny too.

Overall, I'd give this season a 9, -1 for the inconsistent animation quality, and 9 for everything else. It made me laugh and appreciate the romantic elements in the story. The art itself is excellent, dips in some episodes but, is excellent overall. If you loved the first season, you'll probably love this too.

How the heckidy heck this still has 37k members? Episodical might not be popular nowadays, but it's throughly enjoyable. Honestly it's quite rare to see gag parodies having any popularity these days, which is a bit sad. Sure there is an oversaturation of hyped animes this season and continuing from last, but damn do I miss these geniuenly laughable animes.

Enough ranting, in short this anime is wholesome (to a degree), funny (to preferences), and relaxingly wackly stupiditly amazing. Story's predictable but let's be honest, the pretext are unique enough to be enjoyable. Art is fantastic, better than those 3rd rate, mass produced, Isekai ... animes. Characters actually doesn't get that much character development since most of these are episodic. In this aspect, I guess it's a minus for me. Anyways, hopefully all this fulfills the review conditions and if you're asking me if you should watch it? Watch Gintama first then come back.

This anime deserves more then what it has

Level up in animation
Good comical and romance scence
Side characters are not annoying
Also some concept are good

The story is typical school harem concept. Alien fmc alway loves the mc but mc iis typically behind every girl he see. Now a day this kind of are rare . Concept became old so nobody adapting it

Art style is good and its been improved in seaso 2 compared to previous one
