These series are incredibly similar in their quirky humor, particularly in the way they inject the whole cutesy magical girl stereotype with plenty of gore and brutality. If you like one, you'll surely like the other.

Whacky comedy in which a hyper female lead brings constant chaos to each and every frame: the description fits Excel Saga as well as Bokusatsu Tenshi. Both are very colourful, loud productions in which characters die and are brought back to life, repeatedly, even. The humour in both relies on shoutouts to other anime and popular culture in general and they have the same feeling of plot-less over the top fun aimed at a more mature audience.

I was immediately reminded of Dokuro-chan. Both male characters get brutally beat up by innocent looking girls and tons of crazy and funny things happen :)
report Recommended by deathbusters
Both have girls with magic powers, funny side characters, some ecchi and a lot of comedy. The female lead in both series are also non-humans, one being an alien and the other an angel. Kugimiya Rie also voice acts in both series as Sabato and Hastur.
report Recommended by Ellis-chan
Chaotic, funny and silly shows where weird things happen. The boy has to deals with angel-like girls. These girls cohabit with him, and strange things happen all the day.
report Recommended by Disillusion
Puni Puni Poemy and Bokusatsu Tenshi are a perfect match. Both are oddball comedies with hyperactive heroines running amok with plenty of ecchi moments thrown in for good measure. They have a rather tenuous plot that is compensated by a constant gag-fest that mocks anime clichés, mainly the magical girl genre in PPP and harem series in BT.
report Recommended by Nocturnal
Crazy female leads give hell to teenager boys, FLCL and Bokusatsu Tenshi take this basic formula and deliver two of the most outlandish comedies in the history of any medium. Odd and energy filled, these series storm their way through a series of rapid scenes, using bright colours and an outstanding animation in FLCL's case. In both there is a whacky coming of age story as these frenetic anime pile references to several of the most frequent archetypes in entertainment in general and anime in particular.
report Recommended by Nocturnal
Both are random, perverted, and funny :D
report Recommended by HatchetGirl
A sometimes over-the-top violent slapstick comedy about supernatural beings and the mortals they're living with. Jashin-chan tends to lean more into a more lighthearted slice-of-life comedy, while Dokuro-chan uses more vulgar set-ups for much of its humor.
report Recommended by Sohlaire
The enitial plot is the same... A female mercinary travels through time in order to assasinate a man who has rocked human kind in a devistating manner. Both assassin attempt more or less come to a standstill, as both girls arrive in a time-period where the chaos causing man is nothing but a nervious, innocent schoolboy: - In DNA2, Junta overpopulates the Earth - In Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan, Sakura creates immortailty

Lots of perversions, violence and over the top antics. Someone's always pulling a bat out of nowhere and beating a child with it.
report Recommended by dvice
Both have the same kind of humor and feature a male lead who is abused for comedic effect by everyone around him for supernatural reasons.
report Recommended by CBSHeadstock
Both series feature a poor, put-upon young man (is it a coincidence they LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME??!!) being mentally sexually (in Sakura's case, add physically) abused by a bevy of lovely lolitas. Both of these series are also SICK, SICK, SICK!!! If you're into this type of thing (as I am), you'll love it!! Otherwise, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!

Some crazy sense of humor.
report Recommended by Lucek
Main male gets beatings every episode by the female characters
report Recommended by melancholylover
Both have angels, women beating the hell out of men, "death" of main character(s) just to be revived again, similar looking main character, and very funny.
report Recommended by Nylogik
Both of them have main characters that die almost every episode. Dokuro-Chan also has high levels of Ecchi and Comedy.
report Recommended by Fye_DX
Similar art styles and humour in both shows, both shows have a blossoming romance between an 'ordinary' guy and an extraordinary girl, both shows also rely on inflicting pain on the male lead as a vehicle for humour. Dokuro-Chan by and large is more graphically violent and a lot more sexually explicit then Seto no Hanayome..
report Recommended by Heart_of_Storm
Both are comedies with magical main female protagonists and mature content, and crazy on their own ways. While Dokuro-chan is violent and gory, Kanokon is erotic with lots of bare female skin. Even though they are cute animes, they're definitely not for kids.

there both insane
report Recommended by okami
Both are in school and have large exadgerations with violence and are comedys.
report Recommended by Nikoru-san
Both series make over the top Moe humour, with similar feel to both series.

Randomness. Randomness and ecchiness everywhere.
report Recommended by PatoFeliz
Both of these titles have similar characters and story, but totally different atmosphere — this contrast creates a comic effect.
report Recommended by Arandelix
warning this might contain spoiler!!!! Probably the same story line,alien/angel lives with the boy, the boy likes another girl,Alien/angel always causes trouble, another alien/angel is sent to kill the boy, and they have the same amount of ecchiness. one of the VERY few differences is that dokuro is an angel and Lala is an alien. So to-love-ru is kind of like an extended version of dokuro-chan.

Blood, angels(devils) and perverted humor.
report Recommended by starry_Sora
very similar an other worldly stupid female creature living with a guy and going to the same school as him while she causes him trouble and they need to overcome the girl's kind to continue living together, in Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan the girl is an angel and the main male characte (Sakura) needs to protect the girl (Dokuro) from the angels, but in DearS the main male character (Takeya) needs to protect the girl (Ren) from the DearS. And also, the caracters Neneko and Minagami are in a similar situation, think about it the girl that likes the main male character but he is too  read more

- Angels - Random Humor - Ecchi Humor Both have angels in them that have a person they should watch over although where Sora no Otoshimono has a better story development in general, Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan tops that with the random slaughter and great ecchi humor! But either of both are great!
report Recommended by RafaelDeJongh
Both are crazy comedies with old animation style. Both take common theme (deliquent/time-travelling) and make fun of it while being random.
report Recommended by abystoma2
Both anime are comedies in a school setting and involve angels who behave sadistically and/or in other ways that are out-of-character for angels.
report Recommended by MorningStorm64
Both shows are a weird blend of ecchi, comedy, a bit of the supernatural, and a fair bit of violence. Tsugumomo is definitely less on the bloody side of things, while Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan is notorious for unbelievably ridiculous fountains of crimson spray.
report Recommended by delta5
Both are comedies with a heavy focus on the main character dying and coming back.
report Recommended by DWBAnimaybe
The titular characters are both seemingly innocent magical girls who end up violently hurting their "friends" and sometimes even kill them for no good reason (and their "friends" somehow come back to life a few moments later). Also the scenarios in both shows start off harmless and end in complete nonsense most of the time.
report Recommended by the_grapist
both of the "comedy" in these series is for the scattered brain mc to be abused, and both are very bloody
report Recommended by veravv
Very very stupid, random and ecchi humour with a lot of characters with stupid personalities. Dokuro Chan is more extreme, but if you enjoy stupid, mindless humour, you will probably like the other.
report Recommended by Prizma10
Ridiculous violence and a generally unhinged view of comedy. Love gone very, very wrong.
report Recommended by delta5
-Humor Absurd short With a bit of fan service, and using violence as humorous method With much exaggeration.
report Recommended by OtakuNote87
Both Memumemu-chan and Dokuro-chan treat about a supernatural girl (a demon in Memumemu-chan and an angel in Dokuro-chan) meeting and starting to live with a normal teenager boy, with both male characters being mistaken as pedophiles through their anime. Memumemu-chan is way more lighthearted, however.
report Recommended by Illyricus
The absurd, ridiculous comedy follows a male main character who were caught up by a main female character for a weird reason. The female characters have silly weapons that usually like to play around with it, or just hitting it on the male character. There are some scenes that are funny, but most of them are flat and dry, but if you are looking for a weird absurd show, these two will be your time. Dogs and Scissors focus a male character who suddenly turn into a dog and adopted by a beautiful, yet sadistic girl who uses scissors. Dokuro-chan follows a boy who is under  read more

Both anime are really funny and main character is cute, sadistic twelve years old girl. In Bokusatsu-Tenshi that girl is an angel who lives with a normal boy. In Rizelmine that girl isn't real human too, and she also lives with normal(?) boy. If you liked one of thoes anime you must watch another!
report Recommended by emileszy
The protagonists in both anime keep getting killed all the time
report Recommended by Makowka
A ruthless main character who constantly kills other main characters who are magically brought back to life. Though in sabagebu!, thats because all of the action is actually in the characters minds. Both involve slapstick comedy techniques, and over the top blood loss. Don't forget just a tease of fanservice.
report Recommended by Doro4462
Both shows offer a questionable world with extremely bizarre characters and actions that make zero sense. If you enjoy the randomness of either show you'll definitely like the other. Both Dokuro and Popuko have violent tendencies.
report Recommended by Solitary_Fate
They both are really funny anime to watch. There isn't a big story in it, so it's easy to follow; you could watch episodes randomly because there isn't really a line in it, but there is so much comedy in both!
report Recommended by usagi2
Both are completely Irreverent Comedies who lack anything that might make a independant philosophical viewpoint (Both are in it for the laughs and the ecchi). That being said, as such series go, these are both particularly great animes.
report Recommended by Eneljie
Wacky humor, almost identical art style, similar length. If you're up for some good laughs without committing to anything, these two series gets the job done.
report Recommended by sunshinesan
Similar style of comedy, Dokuro is the more raunchy and silly of the two.
report Recommended by Racaholic
In both anime, the main character "dies" a lot as comedy, though Dokuro is more graphic about it.
report Recommended by ZettaiRyouiki
Both are funny as hell fan-serivice shows
report Recommended by BurningBang
Both feature really cute girls in extremely goretastic situations. Except Dokuro-chan has little to no seriousness or plot to speak of.
report Recommended by Keirik
Hayate is a parody of other anime and Dokuro-chan is somewhat like a parody itself. They are both considered "hilarious" but it depends on your sense of humor. Just be aware Dokuro-chan is the more raunchy version of the two.
report Recommended by Hantsuki
The humor and artistry are almost exactlly the same, with the only difference being, of course, the adultness of Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan
report Recommended by MapleTree46
same kinda randomness , same length eps. but were Weiss has card games Dokuro has blood ... and lots of it.
report Recommended by TJK
Master-servant relationship but like HimM, the servant is the one bossing the master around. Great equation for comedy ^_^ FYI: Also Dokuro-chan has very graphic violence and is ecchi. If you love those things as well, please watch!!
report Recommended by Ranivus
The mood feels very similar plus in both animes the main character gets beaten all the time.
report Recommended by boboliini
Just randomly hilarious.
report Recommended by Playboy
Both of them involve crazy girls trying to kill the main male character. And has blood and gore. The main girl characters have very similar/sharp weapons.
report Recommended by RenaSaga
Both have very fast paced and similar humour however, WAsshoi uses parodies and moe as humour Dokuro-chan uses gore as humour.
report Recommended by mumbo
Both are insane, hysterical, perverted, and surprisingly well animated stories of a boy whose life gets turned upside down by supernatural girls. Great for anyone looking for some crazy comedy
report Recommended by Anontastic
It's very similar in the sense of *cough* perv. But less so. It's an interesting anime like Club-to-death Angel Dokuro-chan, so i would recommend it.
report Recommended by EmosLastKiss
they both have ecchi parts and kodomo no jikan is lolicon but it is a MUST watch!!! dokuro-chan is misunderstanding
report Recommended by Taiga_1
Both are revolved around slapstick and sexual humor. Every little moment in Dokuro is as comical as any you'll see in Kampfer.
report Recommended by Shinryu1284
Amazingly enough there are acutely a lot of similarities between the two. Keroro Gunso has a lot of refrence comedy to it, "supernatural" things that are not earthly, parodys, they are both hilarious to watch, and more. And as well whenever I watch Dokuro-chan, it reminds me of Natsumi Hinata from Keroro. I guess they are both tsunderes. Anyways, I am sure that if you liked this Anime you will like Keroro Gunso! ;D
report Recommended by sillyker0nian
A guy gets the living hell beat out of him by a cute girl, and of course, hilarity ensues.

OVA's which feature; ditzy, stand-out-cute female angels intruding on the personal space of the comical-abuse-victum leading male who she's trying to look out for.
report Recommended by Gleam_Queen
Mahou Shoujo Ore harkens back to the feel of magical girl parody OVA series from the early and mid 2000s like Dokuro-chan, Dai Mahou Touge (Magical Witch Punie-Chan), and Puni Puni Poemii. All of these shows use hyper-violence (and sometimes fan service) as a source of comedy. Mahou Shoujo Ore adds a little extra bit of spice with gender bending magical girl transformations. If you enjoyed one of the old OVAs, check out Ore; if you liked Ore, check out these old pioneers.
report Recommended by pluvia33
Both are ecchi and very very cute, but Rosario + Vampire has more action and a little more of a plot.
report Recommended by Squirrelpaw4970
Dokuro-chan seems more extreme in it's humor and parodyishness. Potemayo has the same feel, a bit more loving, and is just more adorable and innocent.
report Recommended by d76th
In both the main characters are non-human girls who are extremely special and who are spoiling the main male character's life living next to him and doing extraordinary things. You're gonna laugh a lot in both.
report Recommended by the_orange
there is an angel in both of this animes, their drawing are similar and they have the similar atmosphere:)

After three episodes, I suddenly remembered Dokuro-chan. Don't really know why. Short episodes, silly characters and so. :)
