I FINALLY managed to get a drawing tablet! Now I can finally seriously get back to work on my Shana Theme for Windows 7 (One of the main images I needed to draw the Shana's wings, in the source image it clipped them a little less than half off. Trying to reconstruct them using a mouse proved to be virtually impossible so had to wait until I could get a tablet to do it properly); with this tool I'd been missing for so long I can touch things up properly and make better icons (as I'd planned to make em all from scratch) than what I had been able to make previously.
Began watching anime after going to my first (San Diego) Comic Con in 91' and been hooked ever since. Started out watching raw or poor copies of VHS fansubs till I finally got into a local fansubbing club. Pretty much did every job while we were active: translating, timing, editing, mastereing and encoded (once DVD burners became cheap, up till then everything was SVHS done on an Amiga) countless episodes; many times doing entire episodes solo. Was fun but extremely tiring while going to school full time. Now let others do the work and sit back and enjoy as I work on finishing my master's degree (I feel like I'll be in school the rest of my life!).
My current project is working on creating some Shakugan no Shana Windows 7 themes, complete with icon sets and backgrounds. I'll release what I can once I complete milestones, please keep in mind its timeconsuming to create an entire new iconset in 3-D, or turn existing ones into 3-D usable ones; while my photoshop skills have increased heavily since I started workingon the XP themes, working with Illustrator/Coreldraw has been a steep learning curve so far.
After several months worth of work and experimentation my skills with Photoshop/Illustrator have reached a peak where I really need to get a tablet in order to take the next steps. I hope to be getting one soon, once so I hope to finally do some real work on the new themes for Win 7. Though I finally completed my Graduate degree in school; I'm still looking for a job and money is really tight. Once I get some stable employment I'll be able to fix my high end workstation to work on the themes (granted I won't have as much time) but the time I will have will be put to use much more effeciently once I get the machine repaired and some new accessories I need (and finally some more discs so I can add another couple of terabytes to a second array on my main server for anime storage only.
I've created several Shakugan no Shana themes for Windows XP, for some reason MAL is butchering the BB code so the images won't display correctly atm. You can get them at my blog site (soon to be updated with current info) at: http://pelsia.wordpress.com/

Hi there ! I somehow ended up here. At first i was looking at RISA who has the opening song for Little Buster which brought me to Harukoi Otome where i ended up seeing your profile avatar as you had a review of it. So i thought i drop by and say nice Shana picture. clearly a dude which got good taste. Then i realized you are a girl and also notice you got a lot of great taste in characters. Shana, Mikoto, Hinagiku, Kagami, Mikan and Rin all pretty awesome. Then you got me surprised by your taste because I kinda have the thought that Hentai is normally dominated by the males and myself as a male barely watch them. That mostly due to the lack of story which makes me bored while watching them. I sometimes pick up a few though. And because of your review i will watch Harukoi Otome some day i believe.
So I hope i did not write too long to make you too bored to read it all. Just wanted to drop by and say hello and to say that you got great taste :D

Now that you mentioned job hunting, I've been having the same difficulties, too. And it's tiring. :(
Then again, both California and Florida (supposedly the wealthier States) are still financially screwed from what I know. I also aim for a Doctorate degree. With the way things are economically, I can't trust surviving with a Bachelor's. I could stop at Master's, but I have trouble trusting the future due to its unpredictability. I'm a cautious man (ironically, my Capricorn nature).

Good review on Dark chapel, i found it quite informing, though i have to disagree on something, you mentioned that it has "extreme content" but i'd like to comment on that, scat, it's usually rare, and it turns off alot of watchers/readers (Like me lol), group sex is quite common and it's not that extreme, multiple partners might count as netorare, and that's a whole genre itself, and i don't see the point of enema, as for anal, well that's pretty standar in hentai,it's everywhere and it's nothing out of the ordinary, also it's not extreme at all, infact it's more on the softcore side, on a side note, you mentioned something about bondage, that's what got me interested, usually when there's scat and enema, there MUST be bondage, but this hentai throws that stereotype in a trash can, thought it did have a feel of it, if you know what i mean, anyways, i really liked your review and i'm looking forward to your future reviews, good luck and thanks ;)

yea its for XP but im not so good when it comes to Photoshop. How advanced is the ps portion of the themes? If its too advanced, prolly cant do it. How about editing themes? Im currently using your Shana theme and im very happy with it, just wanted to adjust some stuff to my likings. It would be nice to learn everything but since i know practically nothing about this, i would just cause you alot of trouble =X

That would be us here at Central Anime. I still use my Amiga 600 to time scripts before turning them into avi and mkv files.
I've been able to utilize many scripts from groups that we used to communicate with that no longer exist. Oh, for the old days sometimes.

No that's alright. He finally answered me. And then after going over the thread of messages I became confused as to what he actually wants. He asked for LDs and tape capture ability and then after my answers to him he talked about how DVD was dead and they are going to blu-ray. Made me wonder about why he asked about LDs and tapes.
I think we both had the same experience from what you say here.
