Recommendations

Both series focus on main characters who have trouble expressing themselves and interacting with others, trying their best to improve themselves in a heart-warming, comedic fashion.

There are no obvious Yuri stuff on Slow Start, but both has similliar atmosphere, by being a story about 4 school girls.

First up, both are relaxing slice of life show with a little comedy. The impression depicted by both gave the sense of a smooth progression without much climax that would get your heart beating faster than usual. But that is also why both shows are nice. Second, both of the shows have excellent theme songs - I'm sure many would like it as well. Now, if you are looking for a show for you to sit back, relax and watch, or after watching numerous action/horror show, then you pick this up.

Both feature cute girls doing cute things, and are very soothing to watch. If loveable cliched characters and adorable shenanigans are your type of thing, sit back and enjoy. They'll both surely put a smile on your face.

Slice-of-life comedy filled relaxing anime. Doing everyday activities with friends like what they would write, "cute girl doing cute things". While Hinako Note was doing things related to Drama, Slow Start I think was more general....

Both anime are comedic slife-of-life series that focuses on socially anxious protagonists trying their best to make friends and engage with the broader world.

Making new friends is the big theme here. Moe through first time experiences.

If you are into moe, basically cute girls doing cute things, you will love kinmosa if you liked Slow Start! Though the plot is different, you can still expect to get your light jokes and cute girls :p

Both series focus on shy, kind-hearted characters starting a new part of their school life (middle/junior high in Bocchi, high school in Slow Start) and learning to improve their social abilities as they make all sorts of new friends.

They both are very relaxing, and you don't have to be stressed about the characters and the plots setting.

"Slow Start" is "Girls und Panzer" without the panzer. Both are moe shows with the cuteness aspect emphasized. Miho (Girls und Panzer) and Hana (Slow Start) have similar character designs. Both main characters also entered their high school under unusual circumstances. Tama and Yukari have a similar demeanor and is obsessed in a hobby. Tama is a J-culture otaku and Yukari is a tank otaku.

Both are very satisfying to watch as a "cute girl doing cute things" show. Both series star a group of girls with very different personalities who meet each other on their first day of school and become friends. In both cases, the protagonist has a special trait that negatively affects their otherwise mundane life. In the case of Anne Happy it is An's luck and in Slow Start, it is Hana's later than usual high school enrollment. The art style of this anime is very similar to Anne Happy

There is a Laffey in both shows. No further explanation is required.

Both are cute slice of life moe shows which feature a girl who is different than the others in some ways (A year older and rich)Heart-warming. Featuring airheads.

I'm kind of cheating here, since this recommendation is pretty low effort. Well, for starters, both Mitsuboshi Colors and Slow Start are from the winter 2018 season. Both anime involve a group of cute girls just going around doing their fun little adventures. Slow Start takes place in high school, and the girls meet the main character on their first day of school, and than start hanging out together, performing their cute antics. Mitsuboshi Colors involves 3 young girls having their own club house and having fun playing their childish detective games. Both shows are in the fan  read more

K-On and Slow Start are both works about friend's influence over one's own life, and use their directing and writing for the primary purpose of making the viewer feel the warmth and purity of the protagonist's bonds. The characterization in K-On is much more subtle and nuanced than Slow Start, which is fairly overt in every element; from the moment the cheery opening plays, with its bright, pastel visuals, the show's intentions are obvious, however, this does not prevent, and in fact, assists in, conveying strong themes and emotions.

Both series feature high school comedy and hijinks centered around female main characters who have trouble expressing themselves; Senryu has romance as a key aspect of its story, whereas Slow Start is more of a CGDCT anime.

Slow Start and One Room are both shows about cute girls’ daily lives in a very similar art style. While Slow Start surrounds the lives of high school aged friends in and out of school, One Room focuses on three different romantic relationships taking place outside of a school setting. One Room also utilizes a first person perspective while Slow Start uses the typical first person perspective.
