Both have very beautiful male characters in a school-setting. Meine Liebe is placed in the past and its tone is a lot more serious and darker, but but both have a conspiracy going on in their plotline. So, if you've watched Marginal Prince, try watching Meine Liebe (and its sequel Meine Liebe Wieder) too.

•Similar aesthetic and art style featuring a toned down color palate •Aristocratic main characters who are young in age, yet fairly capable and skilled as expected of the upper class •Set in a historical European time period and environment with gothic architecture •Darker plot themes •Revolves around a political base (in Kuroshitsuji, Ciel works for the queen, in Meine Liebe, the characters are potential candidates for an advisory position in the royal palace and aim to be nominated) •Social hierarchy is emphasized

Both center around boys-only schools with students of exceptional skill, although Gakuen Heaven is more light-hearted and BL while Meine Liebe is more dramatic and immersed in European history.

Same dark mood and bishounen cast. Both of the main characters in ML and 07-Ghost share a tragic past. 07-Ghost is more of the fantasy and genre, while ML centesr around the daily lives.

Attractive guys with lots of intra-group chemistry problem-solve and kick butt in the name of justice and honour. There's some overlap in the voice casts as well.

A bunch of bishies trying to save their countries. It got the same European theme, kingdoms, swords. Even though Kyo Kara Maouh! Way funnier than Meine Liebe, the general ideas are the same.

Even though they are completely different, the political aspects of Meine Liebe are contemplated in LotGH. The main characters resemble each other a lot, on their views and personalities.

It is difficult to pin down exactly what makes Weiss Kreuz and Meine Liebe so similar since one deals with hitmen in the modern world while the other takes place in a academy in a vaguely historical setting but they share a certain atmosphere. The almost all male ensemble that has to interact and cooperate in close quarters as well as the contrasting personalities add an air of drama, the characters' backgrounds that are brought to weight on the narrative and the overall feeling make these titles reminiscent of each other.
