Synopsis

Doraemon and friends run away from their home and travel back in time to the 70,000 years ago where nobody existed to build their ideal private paradise. After they fully relished the freedom in the era, Doraemon and friends bid farewell to their paradise and come back to the present day. However, a few days after they came back home, Doraemon and friends bump into a caveman called "Kukul" in the current era. They find out that the caveman Kukul was accidentally transported forward to the present, and that his tribe called Hikari tribe was attacked and abducted by Giga Zombie and Kurayami tribe after Doraemon and friends left the primitive age.

Doraemon and friends decide to go back to the primitive age to save Hikari tribe from the villain.

They dive into a grand adventure during their first and the furthest runaway.

This is it, the remake of a legend
If Doraemon stick with your childhood then watch as your childhood becomes awesome with better Art, really good OP and ED, the characters and story is still plan awesome, the bad guy got some better minions and the Time Police is cuter too
Of course the story is as emotional as ever, the character is still the same, the art is much brighter, it's eyegasm, I couldn't stop the excitement as the movie began
I especially enjoyed the ED song, not only did it makes me feel younger but it was also heart-touching
What are you waiting for, re-live your childhood ...

Spoiler

This is a remake of Nobita and the Birth of Japan (1989), in which Nobita and his friends run away from home to... the Pleistocene Epoch 70,000 years ago. I'm very happy with this version of the story. Whereas I've always found it disappointing how little agency the protagonists had in resolving the main conflict of the 1989 movie, this version has a substantially modified climax in which they do most of the work in bringing down the villain (and yes, everyone in the group gets to do something helpful). The film ...
