They are romantic comedies about adult otakus falling in love. While in Net-Juu its mainly about game otakus, while in WnKwM you'll find a fujoshi, a cosplayer, a gamer. If you enjoy one, you'll probably enjoy the other.

Those are shows that focus on romantic relationships involving gamers/otakus in their adult life. Both are cute, refreshing and have interesting characters.

Both are about romance between odd and awkward otaku couples. Net-Juu has game otakus and WnKwM has many different otakus: gamers, cosplayers, etc.

Both around gamers and romcom! Very cute and relaxing/fun watch. If you are a player of MMOs and grew up with them like maplestory mabinogi dragon quest you’ll be be able to relate even more, but even without it’s a joy to watch and see the characters grow together

Both are primarily about the lives of adult otaku. While Wotakoi delves more into the romance side of things; MMO Junkie is more about the MC trying to be more social and make new friends with the POWER OF VIDEO GAMES!

While the setting is exactly the opposite (romance on the workplace between flashy, otaku characters vs. romance online between more grounded-up characters), the two shows share a lot. Especially strong in both the theme of balancing real life and the "otaku hobbies" such as videogames, manga, anime, cosplay and so on.

Both protagonists are adults who love videogames The romance of both series is very similar, like the comedy...

Both shows deal with Otaku life/culture while focusing on romance as a subplot. Wotaku focuses more on the general otaku life style (manga/anime, games, doujinshi, etc) while Net-juu focuses more on the mmorpg style

Adults that are teenagers at heart. Good romance and funny. They interact in playing games and in real life. Highly recommended.

Both shows are romances and have a setting -that is mostly- in a office. Though in Wotakoi they focus on multiple couples with more focus on being an otaku than video gaming itself.

-both shows have the josei vibe, that is, the characters aren't in middle or high school; they are already working Both shows' opening songs really caught my attention. I mean, they don't sound the same, but it's one of those opening songs that is such a waste to skip.

Both are fun comedies that deal with the difficulties of being a misfit grown person in a society that often discriminate against being different. They are both Romantic comedies and they are both focused grown ups and their issues. They both deal with damaged MCs that find a group of friends where thy belong. Net-juu is more mature in it's problems, going a little deeper into the traumas of living in society, the demands society makes of people and what it is like to be depressed. Wotakoi's characters are functional misfits and not as traumatized as they make a point of disguising their "weirdness". Both shows are   read more

Both deal with a romance between two nerdy characters. One deals with otaku culture while the other deals with video games, still, they give off similar vibes. They have their own charms, though.

"Recovery of an MMO Junkie" shares strong similarities with Wotakoi, especially in the main cast. Both of them have an otaku female character, who gets close to a male character of similar interests. The idea of love is lightly touched in each of the two - they are more focused on the otaku lifestyle and interests instead. So if you liked Wotakoi, chances are you'll like MMO Junkie as well.

similar Main Character but they're osananajimi (childhood friend)

Both shows are about awkward adult otakus who meet through a chance encounter and end up falling in love with each other. The male and female leads are similar in appearance and personality so both anime have the same vibes. The main difference between the two is the setting. Wotakoi mostly takes place in a work-related environment, whereas Net-juu no Susume focuses on a virtual MMO world.

This one definitely reminds me of WOTAKOI! but in a different taste and more romantic take. Having both characters being a shy type and discovering romance on their adulthood is something I am fond of watching. For me, this kind of stories are my kind of wholesome. I'm looking forward for a 2nd season!
