This is what vinland saga is really about. (minor spoilers??)
The visuals - MAPPA has done a wonderful job recreating the vinland saga style with some of their own thrown in. theres little use of CGI and the characters look great. Movement in characters is a toughone since there hasnt been much action scenes yet but I'm sure they handled it pretty well in the upcoming episodes
The music - yutaka yamada has struck gold again god damn....it's great they brought him back, his soundtrack for s1 was excellent and this season is absolutely no different at all holy shit

i am well aware these are ads but the product placement is PAINFULLY unsubtle and it really throws off any enjoyment I can take from this. Everyone, kaguya especially, feels incredibly out of character and poorly acted. Kaguya acts like a boring basic anime girl with absolutely no personality in this. The humour is nonexistent as well, the only thing that got me laughing was how low the quality of these ads are. Funny for all the wrong reasons. The animation also definitely took a dip in quality, but to be fair what can you expect from an ad Overall, just a goofy ass ...

First review here, bear with me for a bit (haha, get it?)
Genuinely one of the most fun rides ive ever read Golden Kamuy has a very wide cast of characters, fleshes all of them out enough that they feel real, and has you rooting for all of them. There wasn't a single character in here that i didn't like or thought was pointless. The pacing is fast but also takes its time to make sure the stuff that matters isnt rushed. The plot is intriguing and absolutely filled with twists and turns that made me want to read more. All the antagonists are fun and interesting, ... |
