Ah yes. Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill. A worthy name for a refreshing take on isekai. Or is it?
I'm not going to beat around the bush. I could tell you in a 10.000-word essay written by Chat GPT that this is another tropy isekai with bland and shallow characters, stuffed into a story that can be summarized in two words that brings nothing new to the table.

all my savings and ordered a full-fledged industrial kitchen aisle and isekai-prayged that shit into whatever twisted universe this anime is real in. Here's why: The MC is the biggest doofus Isekai has ever managed to bring up. In fact, I don't understand why he himself is not losing his coconut doing what he is doing. The whole plot and therefore MC's whole existential purpose is to feed his little "family" which consists of an insatiable slime that devours everything that enters his jello body and an ever-glutenous demi-god wolf.
Imagine if every damn Wendy's in Miami would offer free menus to the homeless. That's how much fucking shit he has to cook every day. Fortunately, my man is blessed with the most batshit broken ability the lord of Isekai has ever inspired his hack writers to scribble down. A portal to Walmart. Yes, this guy's ability is ordering stuff at Walmart, Costco, Target or Amazon you name it he can order it. After he sends his fantasy coins into the otherworldly Blockchain the ordered goods appear out of thin air conveniently packaged in a delivery cardboard box. Don't even get me started on all the food packaging his slime has to absorb. I wish the show would educate people about buying unpackaged food. Although every corn of pepper this guy orders comes pre-packaged in its own plastic seal. But I'm getting sidetracked.
So how would you think MasterChef prepares his unholy amounts of food? Well, the title of the show could maybe cause the assumption that this anime is about camping. But oh my that's not the case. It's called campfire cooking because the only cooking utensil Isekai-Gordon dares to use is a mini camping gas stove. Yes, you heard me correctly this man prepares the amount of food you could use to turn every living person in Zimbabwe obese with, on a fucking camping stove. It would take him mere seconds to let a whole industrial kitchen aisle appear at his command. Yet that motherducker keeps boiling every single meatball he produces, every single grain of rice he cooks separately on his teeny tiny camping stove. My man spends the whole day cooking on a gas burner when he could just order a full-fledged kitchen. I swear you get ocd watching this show.
If you need to get a quick tour into the psych ward or want to uncontrollably order kitchen appliances then go for it. Else, I wouldnt recommend.

How do I even begin this review?
You know the feeling when you finished reading/watching a story that was so incredibly personally fulfilling that now that you digested everything you feel empty inside. A great piece of art leaving you behind as a hollow shell yearning for more content beyond what's available. You get so heavily connected and invested in the characters that the moment you watched the last episode or read the last chapter it feels like loved ones passed away. That is the agonizing looping feeling I have to experience once every so often after a new chapter of this absolutely breathtaking masterpiece

"Turns Out My Dick Was a Cute Girl" is a one-of-a-kind piece of literature. It transcends every other book known to mankind thus far. This will be read by generations over generations. There are few things as sure as the sun setting. One thing is though that, given a good couple of years, "Turns Out My Dick Was a Cute Girl" will dethrone Don Quixote as the most printed work of fiction ever.
The storytelling, the world, the characters and their development, the manga art, the writing... There are no words known to man to describe the absolute perfection "Turns Out My Dick Was a Cute Girl" is. It's an unprecedented tale of romance, unanswered love, loss, and regret but ultimately: peak personal growth featuring thrilling drama and action.
It makes works like Monster or Vagabond look like a sketch of an elementary school kid after he got: "How to make manga 101" as a birthday present. I personally don't believe the author of this, Unichiri, is human. He must be a god, the god of writing.
But low and behold it's not just an incredibly entertaining story that's being told. It examines deep philosophical topics and makes you question reality itself while simultaneously answering and solving physics' greatest mysteries. Nietzsche, Satre, Einstein. "Turns Out My Dick Was a Cute Girl" blows all of their cultural and scientific achievements out of the water.
I absolutely don't need to recommend this to you because you won't get around reading this at some point in your life. However, better experience it sooner than later.

Welcome to M1c3f's condensed spoiler free anime review. I'll be giving you all the necessary information about a show in just a few sentences and a following recommendation.
Today featuring: Komi-san wa
First and most important: I found the show to be quite funny overall. It gave me somewhat of a wholesome nice feeling watching it. The show has a trap (+).
There are a bunch of unique sitcom storys mashed into the 12 episodes that season featured. However, the gist of what's happening and the punchlines are to a wide extend rather repetitive. There are super flat jokes and some better thought through. Some of

them hit, some don't, that's basic comedy. But even though it's a sitcom I missed a more potent red thread.
Komi, the main character, is genuinely unique and original.
The side cast is very cool. It features a good amount of unique characters with individual quirks and traits. And that's what a good sitcom relies on. They always give crucial input and or build the base of the individual storylines.
Sitcom-like there's not really any form of development from each character. Komi slowly works against her social anxiety and the breakthroughs she achieves are rewarding to witness.
The animation is sublimely fitting. It's highly atmospheric and adaptive. It captures the situation and feelings of the characters as well as the comedic setting perfectly through character expressions, effects and edits.
The music and sfx are also doing a great job in rounding up the scenes.
Recommendation?: Entertaining sitcom with some romantic elements. It's uplifting and lightens your mood when watching. Nothing that glues your eyes to the screen for 12 episodes but that however is not something a sitcom wants to achieve.
I will add a little disclaimer here that if there's no change to the structure of the plot and build-up of the comedy the repetitiveness that's already present in this season might be a neck breaker for upcoming episodes.

Today featuring: Sekai Saikō no Ansatsusha (SSA)
SSA features a good isekai backstory. There's a valid reason why the protagonist gets reincarnated. There's some depth behind the reincarnation with bits of teases thrown into the plot.
The overall plot is fine for the most part. Features various story arcs that are all somewhat exciting to follow but are nothing overwhelmingly well written.

a double-edged sword. On one hand, it's unique and entertaining on the other however the processes and outcomes are a bit ridiculous if you take the setting medieval fantasy setting into consideration.
The worldbuilding is a bit lackluster. The show plays in some kind of early renaissance time with different kingdoms and different houses but there's little to no connections, story or political conflict between them that drives the story.
There's barely any focus on the main narrative which is killing the hero of the world. We don't see the hero, we don't know what he's doing, we have little information on why he needs to die. That's unfortunate because it is somewhat of a unique quest that's not (yet) embraced in the story.
The main character is a bit of a fresh take to the isekai genre as he is not a former neet, shut-in, antisocial creep, or what else. He does however bring 2-3 cliche isekai tropes with him. There's a solid connection to his former self.
His reincarnated character is a basic protagonist with no outstanding qualities but I found nothing of his character particularly bad either.
The side cast varies heavily in quality.
The relationships throughout the whole of SSA between the main character and his female harem cast is really bothersome as it kills the otherwise rather mature and reasoned setting and narrative
I could literally show you dialogues from which you would think they are out of hentai.
The animation is basic, nothing special nothing to fancy. It's sufficient in every way. Some vfx look really cool in fights.
Music is meh. The ost is there when absolutely needed. Didn't stick with me at all though. The sfx are good.
Recommendation?: As my points already suggest this is a mediocre anime. Won't blow your mind. Won't make you feel bad for watching it either. If you especially like isekai it's a worthwhile watch.

Today featuring: Tsuki to Laika to Nosferatu (TLN)
First and most important to know: TLN's main purpose undoubtedly is meant to be round earth propaganda. The female lead is a cute tsundere vampire.
The story plays in a cliche anime version of the USSR. It picks up antisemitism in a metaphorical way. I felt twilight vibes even though I haven't seen any movies or read books about the series which felt awkward. The show being a drama has an ok dramatic

narrative. Featuring a "love that is not meant to be" story. The plot has as many deep holes as the moon has craters. The story is flat and unentertaining because there are no visible tension arcs. Progressing overall doesn't feel rewarding.
The main characters lack ... character because:
Irina is a generic female lead due to her cliche tsundere characteristic with extremely predictable behavior and development.
- She however has a somewhat fleshed-out backstory.
- As well as a reasonable and understandable drive and determination.
Lev is by any means not a good character because:
- His actions and traits cant be traced back to a backstory or specific attributes.
- He is as stiff as a tree. He barely changes throughout the season.
- He acts explicitly as it is expected in a bad, lame kind of way.
The Character and world design are not fitting to the setting and narrative. It's too clishe anime'ish.
It features a high quality OST that makes some scenes really enjoyable.
Recommendation?: Not my cup of tea, but I can see some points that might make the show likable to the right audience. Particularly the original narrative. However, I do not recommend it unless you have a tsundere vampire fetish.

Today featuring: Takt Op Destiny
First and important to know: Yes, there are many battle waifus. You might enjoy it or find it to be annoying. Yes, the show is based upon an upcoming gacha game, should you have prejudices because of that. No.
The three protagonists have a really weird relationship that's hard to read. If you compare the protagonists with food they would be a microwave heated slice of pizza. It tastes dreadful yet you still somehow liked

it because it's pizza. Once you have chewed the first bite you know you should have either just eaten it cold, thrown it away, or made the effort to heat it up in the oven. Make up your mind about that analogy if you wish or trust that feeling I build up inside yourself because we can all relate to eating microwave pizza.
The antagonist(s) are batshit stupid the definition of bad villains no further explanation is needed. They literally made some episodes almost unwatchable.
The world is just un-immersive. It's a superficially explained setting that is torn between picturing a post-apocalyptic hazard and a lively routined civilization. At first, the storyline is rather weak and ungarnished but eventually picks up some depth and pace. On its way to the climax, the story shifts into unreasonable unexplainable absurdity. Much like and in connection with the appearance of antagonists.
The battle scenes look gorgeous they are impactful and dynamic. All in combination with great sfx. The Cinematography outside battle is ok'ish. Really plain and basic without a sense of depth. The background art is genuinely nice.
There is little connection between the musical theme with the narrative and the fighting mechanics.
The music composition is extraordinary making one of the best anime led by classic orchestral music.
Recomendation?: It's worthwhile for the fantastic OST and the good action scenes. The first few episodes are a bit tough to get through. The amount of action makes it up for that though. The musical direction gets better and better albeit in the end you will be frustrated again because the plot gets so out of touch with common sense.

The show clearly failed its mission regarding that.

Emmy for most apathetic main character.
Emmy for most reluctantly annoying sidekick.
The show has one single character who is enjoying to watch and is not written by an ape.
There's no real story that's been told to follow along nor are there any designated antalogistic arcs. Most of what's happening is incoherent and serves no greater purpose. Only close to the end of the show the narrative gets some depth to it.
The animation is honestly basic and not creating any kind of apt atmosphere. The lightning and coloring mainly is way to bright.
Recommendation: Kinda waste of time. The show features not a single interesting element. It tries to lure you in with some really shity fan service but after Episode 3-4 there won't be any fan service'y scenes anymore.

The main part of the show is Rudeus development into a mature young adult. It's still nicely driven by the narrative and plot creating a character who is perfectly coherent. The worlds grows way beyond Rudeus home kingdom.
A bunch of new and important characters bring new layers of depth to the narrative and world.
The art style is still fancy with flashy yet accentuated action scenes.
The OST is genuinely touching.
Recommendation: Must watch if you already liked season 1. The best part about the new season is how the world opens up while the plot is still mostly covered in mist. The narrative pacing has been toned done quite a bit however there are many individual plot arcs which keep every episode enticing. Watching Rudeus and the other protagonists grow and develop is still the most catchy part of the series

So it was exactly 9 am in the morning today when I felt this urge gushing upwards from my lower back all over my intestines into my head. It was a familiar feeling. Something I've, and everybody else, experienced dozens of times over and over again. It was natural yet private and discreet. Then this brilliant idea struck my thoughts like lightning hits an old, rotten tree: What if I share this moment of my life with a greater audience. desk made my way through the hallway of offices all the way to the most sacred place that building I'm in has to offer. The men’s bathroom on the 3rd floor, the last cabin in the line. A divine haven for all the people seeking the heavenly relief of taking their morning dumb. Pushed down the guts by whopping 2 liters of coffee. As I lowered my pants, gently descending my buttocks onto the bowl, the urge from before transformed into an unstoppable reality. What was about to come out of my purely formed cervix was the result of 2 straight days of dining at chipotles. Pushing out my well prepared gift of mother nature felt like a fight with the devil himself but in the end, an absolutely astonishing result made its way out eventually plopping into the bowl. I immediately jumped off in cherished excitement. And my wildest expectations were truly met. She was a queen under the great sun of human feces. It had the pure form of a rod much like the one my father used to beat me with for watching terrible anime. Its slight bend gave it the personality worthy of its might. The color was brilliant brown like the leather belt dad also frequently used. It had the density of my comfy Asuna dakimura. It maintained a distinguishable composition of chipotle fuel. I could have gazed upon its beauty for an eternity. The distinct stench of rooting eggs and molding cheese it emits was the cherry on top of this exquisite achievement.
Now you are probably wondering why you just read this stupid shit story (pun intended). Well, I just wanted to give you the feeling that is watching Blue Period. It’s so much, so much, empty talk. Imagine the extend of how dissipated you can talk about art considering I just used 356 words on describing taking a dumb.
The story, if you can call the shallow narrative that way, is hyper lame and serves no greater purpose other than building a really basic narrative.
The main character basically is Kirito as a painter. The most accurate way of describing him.
There are some side characters whose backstories and development are actually pretty decent. These give the show at least a bit of depth and meaning.
Animation is way too mediocre, I expected something better in an anime that is about art.
I liked the music out of context. However, I felt that the tunes they used weren’t befitting to the scenes they were in.
Blue Period definitely is a waste of time. Cheers.

Odd Taxi is an incredible one of a kind slice of life. "bUt THiS aNiMe HAs nOtHinG tO Do wITh SoMe WhOLeSomE 100 ScHoOlbOy aNd sCHooLgIrlS HaRem. Yeah, that's 100% true because this show actually depicts "slice of life" in its true nature. Or at least what you would expect judging by the name of the genre. It's the most real and based show I've seen so far.
Odd Taxi puts real people with understandable issues and struggles and comprehensible backstories on the screen and engulfs them with a perfect setting and thrilling story.
The show starts innocent and chilled until the main character Odokawa is

dragged into a missing person case. As soon as local gangsters get involved the story becomes a modern mob scenario. Little by little the whole extent of things behind the missing girl becomes evident. As Odokawa is faced with a plethora of people and changing problems and struggles the viewer can slowly grasp the complex structure of the plot.
The different story parts all have a great tension curve and are exciting to follow.
Odd Taxi features an absolutely glorious character design. It didn't reinvent the wheel here by depicting humans and meta-human aspects through animal characters and characteristics. However, Odd Taxi is on another level when it comes to presenting human behavior, thoughts, feelings, habits and traits. The delivery of the aforementioned is more understandable and respectively more tangible with the use of Odd Taxis animal characters than any actual human character could achieve.
Every character feels so relatable. They face reproducible problems, have to deal with traceable struggles and eventually overcome those obstacles or go into ruin because of them. The situations presented are generally ones everyone understands and many could imagine themselves in. Some may have been in the exact same situation before.
Every character and their story is a fixed point in the plot. Everything that happens or what a character does is meaningful and essential in progressing the story and garnishing the narrative. Nothing happens without a reason. Nothing is the way it is just for the sake of it.
Odd Taxi is exceptional in building up different story elements and characters while these little elements form bigger plot points which eventually create the bigger picture. Everything is intertwined with each other. Every character is in some way connected with one another and every story element affects most characters even if they weren't a direct part of it.
The outstanding style of animation benefits the narrative and atmosphere the show delivers. Its oil-paint-like background style truly defines the world and how it is supposed to look in the viewer's eyes. The rich in contrast, cell shady designed characters stand out dragging the focus onto them. The use of lighting and shadows in combination with a harmonious direction makes it appealing to follow what's happening. Albeit, the level of execution is somewhat inconsistent and overall it's no visual blow away either.
In conclusion, the show features an incredible set of characters that take part in a well told and exciting story all embedded in a mysterious setting.
I can not stress enough how binge worthy this anime is.
