Oh really? I'm not as to which Smurfs character I like, but my favorite Hanna-Barbera show was always Loonny Tunes lol. I always loved Marvin the Martian and The Tasmanian Devil. Interesting, The only thing similar to that would be AMVs with nu metal or 00s hard rock for the music. I try to strive for the same, not being a boring adult XD
That's pretty cool!! I think there should be more series that take a national hymn or a known song from that country/region and incorporate it in to the soundtrack.
Dang man, I feel as those that's the case now since the popularity of anime/manga that even someone's 85 years great grandma knows who Goku is XD. That's very true!! I love Disney movies and I still love watching old Hanna-Barbera cartoons. Something similar to Moomins being loved by the Finish and the Japanese is the Hispanics love Felix the Cat. My grandma is a Fliex the Cat expert XD
Personally, though I just love watching epic violent battles between a good guy and a bad guy lol. I guess growing up on wrestling will do that to you XD
Oh ok, I see. I'll check out Moomins after I'm finished with Gin. I've seen VHS tapes of Moomins whenever I went to Goodwill( a donation center chain here in the U.S.), but never picked it up XD.
I see. I think that if it weren't for Godzilla, Ultraman, other Tokusatsu, and J-Horror, I probably wouldn't have gotten into anime/manga. I was 6 when I saw the original Ju-On, it scared the hell out of me so bad that I had to have my mom or another family member be in the bathroom while I took a shower lmao.
I think so, but correct me if I'm wrong, but do Nordic countries have the most wolf and dog populations out of all the countries in the world? If so I think that's also why Gin was released and became popular. My uncle and my dad have told me what it was like in the late 90s to early 00s when Dragon Ball was everywhere. I wish I could be born when they were born so I could witness for myself what it was like lol. Was Gin the first anime you watched?
That's awesome man!! Did your aunt also introduce you to HNK and STS or did you find them out on your own?
Yeah, the same can happen with manga to anime adaptions. For some reason Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust cut out the part of the storyline where all the Marcus brothers rape Leila, which is odd because Kawajiri had plenty of rape sense in the previous OVAs and movies he's done. Not enough time to add it in I guess XD
Just finished the second episode and still awesome!! The soundtrack is so 80s lol.
I just finished the first episode...damn, what a banger and what a good first episode!! Gin and the other pups are so cute lol.
I remember you telling me that, I checked a second ago and saw the same VAs for both HNK and STS! Not going to lie, I think it's cool that they all have the same VAs, they're voicing different types of characters, but it's theory familiar voice that makes you think of the other series they've done. XD
And thanks for the link!! Sometimes that happens, I was annoyed when reading Shamo before the chapters repeat or they're missing XD
I'll watch Ginga some, today is my sister's birthday, so it will be later in the day lol.
I don't remember you saying that, but that's good to know, I'll start Ginga this weekend for sure and I'll tell you what I think of it when I get halfway and finished with the anime :)
Oh ok, but that interesting that it's 60 volumes and ran for 10 years. Are the chapters in Weed short and that's why it's so long lol? I'll check out Weed as well once I'm gone with Ginga!
I recommend reading Kyou Kara Ore Wa. So far it's one of my favorite manga I've read this year, along with Black Angels and Jiraishin which I just finished reading. Kara is a delinquent comedy, Black Angels is just fucking insane, and Jiraishin is a psychological thriller-esq detective one with episodic arcs( One arc is about 3 chapters, around 50 pages each). Out of the three, Jiraishin is my favorite. :)
I promise you, bro, I'll watch and read it very soon, maybe over this weekend I'll start. XD Wow! The sequel is 60 volumes, how long did it run for? I'm excited about the HNK style of fighting and gore! Then a banging soundtrack to jam out and thug out too XD
