Hey, I just remembered how much you liked Lucky Star. Well, there is this anime that's airing right now (it's currently on episode 5), it's called Non Non Biyori... Watch it! It's probably the most entertaining anime of this season and one of my favorite Slice of Life shows in a long time.
I'm glad you liked Hataraku. Well, as for S;G goes, I pretty much watched it while it was airing and, honestly, the first few episodes were boring as hell. Then they picked up the pace. I wasn't aware of the hype it had at the time, so my expectations were pretty low or non-existent.
The song writer/singer wrote the song after his girlfriend died in an earthquake in the 90's asking life to give him one more chance, one more time. Hence the name of the song.
Yes, it is the most touching anime movie since 5cm. I've heard that Usagi Drop is very similar. I also see that Usagi Drop is in your favorites as well D:
